Plano ProLatch 23650-52 Stowaway Box with Adjustable Dividers and Inhibitor Chips

VERY well made box, lots of dividers that can be configured, and it comes with the little anti-rust strips. I believe the people that complain about this box have very specific uses for it. I don't - I just use it as a general purpose small parts bin. The latches are strong, the dividers fit very tightly and the plastic is of good quality. Unless you need something to fit VERY specifically, it can't be faulted for anything.

Not a whole lot to say, they're just inexpensive plastic boxes. I needed additional tackle boxes for both my Spiderwire and Cabelas tackle bags. These fit both perfectly, not too loose, not too tight. I take a lot of gear when I head out on my 10-14 day fishing trips. These keep all my salmon spoons, spinners, and other lures organized, and dry as long as I remember to close them! The latches are strong and lock firmly and securely, unlike other brands which can come undone and spill lures.

I use to store drill bits. Easy to see. Holds wide variety.

This is a very sturdy box that can be designed as you wish. It has the plastic dividers that you can place to make the sections big or small. The latches are strong and sturdy.My daughter actually uses it now for all of her "Rainbow Loom" type rubber bands. She puts all of the colors and clips into it and it works beautifully!

I ordered this box to use as a dice tray for wargaming. I can store the dice in it, and having not put the dividers in the right side, I use that as the dice rolling area. The price through Amazon was about 1/3 more expensive than buying from a local sporting goods store. But the box at the store did not have the special cardboard pieces that help keep out moisture. Also, the latches on this one held better than every one of the others at the local store.It appears that Plano has multiple models of this box available. I'm assuming the box I got was the most recent version based on the comparisons.

I've several of these that I use to organize board game components. They really speed up the pre-game setup and post-game teardown, which means more time for actually playing. The compartments are shallow, so there are better Plano boxes for holding lots of thick components, like dice, wooden cubes, or meeples. They're too small for cards as well. However, they really shine when it comes to storing flat cardboard chits and tokens. such as the resource tiles in Le Havre, the monster tiles in Mage Knight, and the various tokens that come with Fantasy Flight's Civilization board game (culture, gold, wounds, huts, etc). Their length is perfect for box with an 11-inch side.When used for this purpose, the shallow trays are not a liability, but rather an asset, as boxes with deep compartments can be frustrating and even painful knuckle-scraping affair as your fingers dig for purchase. My favorite design feature is that the compartments have rounded, sort-of scalloped bottoms, so you can scoop out a handful of components quite smoothly. That's not a standard trait for all Planos (or similar storage boxes), so it's not to be taken for granted.
