Amazon Basics USB Gaming Microphone - Blue

I purchased this mic for my 83-year-old mother in law mostly because it was the only USB mic available in time for her birthday "zoom" party. While it looks like something a 15-year-old would have on their desk, the mic actually works pretty well.The looks of the mic might not be for everyone, but it performs quite well for the application.

Due to the virus panic,most friends and medical professionals have turned to Skype for conferences and meetings/appointments. This im arrived very fast (Prim). However, a 4 star merit due to insufficient instructions for hooking up to a Win 10 PC to be used for Skype. Numerous web sites later, I found what I needed away from the Skype help sites. It took an hour or so (and I'm an IT guy) to get this working.Once working, the sound quality ws good, and it's recognized by the system and Skype as the default sound input device.

My sound card on my laptop broke right before distance learning. I was told that mac products don't work well with external mics, but this was great. I used this to attend and run google meet classes and it saved the day.

You won't get the best sound from this item but it is good enough to use for gamers that are looking for a cheaper set up. It didn't stand up to time well, though. The dial stopped working within a few months of clicking it on and off. Still, it did its job and it is a good value for its cost. This would work for any of the younger gamers, too.Sits great on any hard surface and is made of thick plastic so it is sturdy. The only issue we had was the on and off stopped working sooner than I would have likely.This is a great item to use for those kids who are taking school online and have to talk to their instructors.

The microphone weighs nearly nothing since it's entirely made of cheap plastic. I wouldn't mind this necessarily if the sound quality made up for this, but it does the opposite. Everyone I talk to online either complains that it keeps breaking up or there's constant static in the background. Would not recommend this product whatsoever (especially at the $30 price point). It feels and sounds like a $2 microphone.

I bought this microphone for my gaming channel on YouTube. Best Decision Ever!!! The microphone is clear and can catch any sound or voice needed. Definitely worth its price!!

Solid functional device. Works flawlessly and does the job. My only complaint would be, when you have the device in mute, it lights up and when it’s in normal mode, there are no lights. Seems backwards, IMO.

Microphone was easy to set up, just plug and use. Very simple and small for those looking for something simple and cheap. In terms of sound quality, wasnt great at all. A lot of static noise would come up at random times and could be very loud. I wouldn't recommend for anyone needing it for streaming or video purposes.

Quand je les branché j'ai été surpris un très bon son de qualité contrairement à certain micro qui grisille ça fais maitenant plus de 3 semaine que je les et je n'es rencontrer aucun problèmes très bon produit ca vo la peine pour le prix

Llevo tiempo usándolo y estoy muy contento con el, la única cosa que no me gusta mucho que con el tiempo el cable se ha empezado a trenzar sobre si .mismo. y a veces si tiene el móvil cerca hace interferencias. Por lo demás está muy bien. Va bien con Skype, teams, discord.

Hatte keine grossen Erwartungen und wollte auch eigentlich nur mal für mich testen, ob TS/Discord/Steam/etc. beim Zocken auch ohne Headset geht, also Sound (Game und Voice) über Desktop Boxen und dann zum Sprechen das Mic.Feedback aus dem TS - Super klar, deutlich und angenehm zu hören.Installation war einfach - nur USB anstecken und geht.
