Worked Perfectly
This small but important item worked just great. It was fairly difficult to get on the bow tip ... tight fit. But on the very good side, after much usage it has so far never fallen off. Of course, I can get the protector off fairly easily when changing bow strings. Over time it has sort of conformed to the bow tip shape itself. Now, in a way, just snaps in place. I would definitely buy another.

Perfect for Protecting your Bow
I had developed a habit of placing the bottom of my recurve on my shoe to protect it. With these I don't even have to think about it, bt old habits still die hard...

So Far, So Good
I followed the directions and smeared a bit of soapy water on the tips of my bow limbs, boiled the plastic protectors for 30 seconds, and they slipped right on. They shrink/tighten when they cool, so I don't think they will fall off accidently. I'm a little concerned about trapping moisture against my limb tips, but the soap dried quickly when I was waiting for the water to boil. They seem thick and pliable enough to protect not only the limb tips, but the string grooves as well. I haven't shot with them yet (Chicago winter) to see if they affect accuracy or power. I'm a beginner, so it should be negligible! The final photo is with the string removed to show how the plastic deforms to fit your bow and string. Haven't used them long enough to judge durability. The current price of $10.99 seems ridiculous for a couple of pieces of plastic, but other types are even more expensive; so four stars.Update: I added a photo after shooting around 500 arrows. These tips absorbed a lot of damage that would have been dealt to my bow.

Works great for me!
They work great and I feel better knowing I won't bang up my bow tip if I rest it on the ground.

Great for youth shooters that don't respect a nice piece ...
Great for youth shooters that don't respect a nice piece of equipment. A little bit of extra protection goes a long way. Quality product.

Grossly inflated price. Weak.
Anyone can make about 20 of these for under a penny. Amazon sells a 14 oz can of Dip It for less than $10 including shipping. With the can of Dip It, you can make at about a 1,000 tips. Or, you can make 2 tips, and use the rest for your tool handles and anything else you want to protect easily and quickly with be flexible plastic coating. Charging over $10 for two tips is absolutely as greedy a price for anyone foolish enough to fall for it (which now includes me) as I have ever experienced. Plus, the tips are not even dipped enough to make them thick enough to last or protect from anything more than scratches. I guess making at least a 10,000% profit was not enough to get the person to dip the tips again to make them last longer. For $10, the price should include 20-100 tips. This is one product Amazon should intervene on because the grossly inflated price makes Amazon look bad.

Confusing title
Description was confusing, just got one set for a bow. Babble speak 12-pack/cd (2-pack) had me thinking I was buying 6 pair instead of one pair. For plastic tip-covers, 6.99 seems a bit high.

they were too loose fitting
They appeared fine at first but after using the bow one of them worked its way off. Perhaps there are different sizes?
