Saladitos -With Chili /Salted Dried Plum with Chili (1 Lb Bag)

These were exactly what I was looking for, I've loved saladitos all my life and used to find these variety very rarely even close to the border, but when I did I always enjoyed them.Like most stuff like this it's an acquired taste, if you're not sure what to expect probably shy away from buying a giant bag of them and look for a smaller sample to see if you'd like them or not. There are three main types I'm aware of, original plain salted, these chili coated ones, and a sweet version I plan to try out next as I have never given them a shot.There's also apricot saladitos which taste very similar but are generally larger (bigger seed, same amount of 'meat'), there's quite a few different types of those, some even being coated with non-dry stuff like tamarind or chamoy -- also good choices if you have a taste for that stuff.Overall, if you're an absolute saladito addict like I am, this is the product for you, there's a ton of saladitos in one pound, and I've been bad and eaten a whole bag over a single weekend on more than one occasion when I had gone without for a while. I'd buy them constantly if my budget allowed, but then I'd probably over-dose on salt :)

I used to live in Texas and I would eat these all of the time and when I moved I didn't see them anywhere else. So, I bought them on here and I couldn't be any more satisfied. They taste Sooo good! And they came in three days and I love them!! I will be buying more of them on here!

This time, they were like little hard rocks, with only a minute amount of meat on them.I've ordered them several times before, and have had the same experience. Another time, they arrived days later than promised, and they were wet.I stopped buying them because you never know what you're going to get.

Classic VERY DRY Mexican Salt Plums in case you are HOT and Sweating a lot. Nice Cure. No classic Li Hing Mui tastes the Chinese USED TO KNOW!

They are alot more salty than I thought Ive only had the plain salted ones before so I thought I'd give the chili ones a try and now probably won't finish the bag just because the saltiness is so crazy :/ they are good though

these things are amazing. they got here pretty fast and the flavor is incredible. as other people have said they does have a good bit of meat on them. their only downside is that they're just as salty as the salty ones. but i guess it works out cuz it stops you from eating them all at once. i wish they had less salt and more chili, but they're very good and remind me of home.

Very small and wet. Not dried or plump like others I’ve bought. Will not buy again.
