Premium Non Slip Rug Pad, 4X6

I LOVE this pad. The rug was on ceramic tile and needed to be fixed in place as well as feel more cushioned. This pad was both but also fit the size of the rug perfectly. There was no older that others described although I lit a flavored candle based on other people's comments. I spent a long time picking it out reading descriptions and reviews of all different pads. I think some descriptions over rate the benefits of their product because the reviews do not match the glowing descriptions. In the case of this pad, reviews are not glowing enough. Because of all three -- the cushion, size fit and non-slip-- this is one of the best products I've bought on Amazon.

I needed to have thing rugs at entryway and mudroom as the door needs to be nearly flush to the ground to keep cold air out in winter. The rugs I bought inevitably were thin and therefore slipped on the hard-wood floors. These rug pads are thin enough and also have a strong enough grip to hold the rug in place. For higher pile rugs where thickness is not an issue I think you might want a thicker pad but for my purpose it did the trick after a few tries with other brands.

This thing is big, and can easily be cut or torn to size. I’ve recommended it to family who have a slippery rug as well. We use it on an area rug in our living room. It refuses to budge unless we put a lot of effort into it.It’s basically an oversized mat like you can get for your kitchen cabinets.If you have any left over, use it on desks or tables to keep your writing pads, checkbooks, phones, etc. from slipping on smooth surfaces. I use the leftovers for writing on legal pads all the time.

I've tried a few other rug pads, but this one has been the best. It seems to be a little more padded than others in the same price range. My problem has been that my dog tracks in tons of dirt, grass, and mulch. This debris works it's way under the rug pad and that makes it lose it's "stick". I guess it's a lack of friction. Since this rug pad is a little more substantial, it seems that it can handle the dirt a little better. It's not perfect, but it performs better than any reasonable person could want.

This pad has held our area rug in place very nicely. I purchased two others from this seller and I have been very happy with the quality and feel of these pads. I used one to cut up to use for our smaller rugs. I would recommend this pad and this seller ''any day of the week''.

I'm in the construction labor business, so I always have boxes of safety gear, time cards and marketing material in the trunk of my Honda CR-V. They were always sliding around, falling over and basically a frustrating mess most the time. I tried a few things, but this non slip mat fixed it immediately. Everything stays put like it should and I now have more trunk space as well. I read that constantly having weight on them can bond it to the floor so I take my boxes and flip it over about once a week.

I used this item for an alternate purpose. I got a new mattress and frame for it to sit on, but the wooden slats on the frame were quite slick and the mattress would slowly slide. I found it quite annoying that my mattress would slide away from the headboard just far enough for my pillow to slip into the space in between at night.I needed an anti-slip mat! I searched for the right size mat and one that would fit my needs, and found this excellent Premium Non-Slip Rug Pad! It was the right size to not stick out from under my mattress. It was the right kind of material, and it works great! My mattress has not budged at all since I installed it almost 2 months ago now! I used to have to push my mattress back into position every other day before I started using this excellent non-slip mat!This Non-Slip Rug Pad is great and works wonderfully! And it can be cut down to size if needed!

This is a great rug pad. It in thin, yet my rug doesn't budge at all. I like that the rug still lays flat on the wood floor. I would happily give this pad 5 stars....except! When I opened this pad there was a tear in the pad, just a small hole. I wanted to use it, hopefully the hole/tear will not affect the life of the pad. It wasn't worth the hassle to return the pad. But, not receiving my pad in perfect condition...I am, sadly, unable to give the product the 5 stars it deserves.
