Samyang Ra-bokki Buldak Chicken Flavored Rice Cake Ramem Noodles 2pack With Yopokki Chopsticks

I was craving tteokbokki for a while! This totally hit the spot! I love spicy and this is REALLY spicy. The bird on the package is crying... Expect upper lip sweat and possible tears. I added another noodles from some Shin Ramyun, 1 cup xwater, mustard cabbage, white onion, green onion, pork, and topped with a boiled egg. Crack open a beer and TADAH! this is frickin gourmet! The closest Korean grocery is like 40 minutes away so I'm a moment of lazyness/quarentine desperation I bought these. Amazon has these overpriced but daaaang they are worth it. It comes with 2 kits. I made one with all the fixings I added and it was enough for 3-4 people. 4 people especially if you eat it with a side veggies or salad. This totally hit the spot. Also it's good with some American cheese melted on top. Nomnomnom

I love this food so much. It's my absolute favorite, and it is very spicy! I usually add slices of cheddar cheese to dilute the spice if I'm not up for it, but even then it's still pretty spicy. But the flavor is very good!You can just use one packet of sauce and powdered cheese, and save the other packets for later. You can boil some ramen noodles with some water, the sauces and cheese slices, and eat it that way. Very tasty.Will definitely buy it again.

The rice cakes are a weird, but welcome texture being that they're glutenous and chewy, but are a welcome change from a lot of other noodle-based dishes. The noodles are fairly standard ramen-style noodles, but maybe just a tad bit thicker than most. The sauce is really spicy and so tasty. Grab an extra napkin to dab the sweat off your face! You'll need it!

This is a fine product, but be aware it's extremely hot (spicy). It comes with two sauce packets, and though we eat a lot of fairly hot food including Indian and hot Thai food, when made as directed with both sauce pouches, we were unable to eat it. Since we got two complete kits, on the second try, we used only one sauce packet--and it will still only barely edible. There is nothing at all wrong with the product, just be aware of what you are buying. If you don't like chicken vinderloo level fire, order something else.

ok so I’ve been looking all over for these ever since i saw asmr videos. I can’t handle spice but I heard this was the tamest one of all out of samyang products. the first package was gross I added way too much spice cooked it on the stove for too long. I’d added like 3/4 of only one spice packets. It came with 2. Tried it again today. I added no joke 1/4 a teaspoon of the spice and only one packet of the cheese packet. My mouth was on fire!! If I was raised in the Korea or jsut ate spicy food in daily I’m sure this would be fine. But I’m whitewashed and my palate is bland soo... The flavor is ok but the flavor is literally spice which to me is just gross u want to taste something else with it. The second time I microwaved it and I liked it better that way. I did 10 mins added enough water to cover it then dumped some of the water out. I also added mozzarella cheese. The tteokbokki is was not my fave but again these are microwavable rice cakes. They didn’t have any real flavor and the texture was kinda weird. But yah if u can handle the spice go for it if not stick to another brand that isn’t as spicy. I’d rate 4.5/10

Very yummy but omg is it spicy- I even left out one of the sauce packets and still my mouth and lips on fire - and trust me I love spicy food. But this was to much for me, for second pack I’ll probably use 1/4 of one sauce pack so I can enjoy the flavor

Set my mouth on fire and my stomach was not happy with me for days lol didn’t know if I would throw up or go to the bathroom lol it’s like Russian Roulette! Taste is great and easy to make but holy hell is what I got and I couldn’t continue to eat it! I like spicy but this is next level fire status! Eat at your own risk!
