I have been taking a lot of colored notes lately and I have to say that this product helps me organize my pens/markers/sharpies and even highlighters in such an aesthetically pleasing, easy-to-color way. Before I was so cluttered and always going through a pencil box trying to find the right color or type of tool to use, and always having to go through everything together. But this product not only lets me color code (Pink-Purples, Green-Blues, Yellow-Orange-Red-Brown), but it lets me easily separate by type (sharpie/thin pens, markers, gel pens) so I don't have to go through anything anymore.The slanted design is also very nice, as it prevents everything from looking too cluttered and allows for easy access away from the platform of your desk when you take it out or put it away (how many times have you knocked over a cup trying to do this from, say, a pencil cup filled with markers? Or a pencil box? I do it all the time - maybe I"m a klutz!)The bottom box is also flat, so it's perfect for sticky notes or smaller items. Gum, erasers, etc. Whatever small knick-nack you got!

These make my desktop look so nice! They do still take up the same amount of space (see before and after pictures) but it looks very put-together. Fits smaller/shorts pens much easier than my tall TomBow dual brush pens. For the price though, you get a lot of little compartments and I just love the look!

I gave 4 stars only because one of the holders has 2 broken shelves. The box was not damaged on the outside, which leads me to think it was damaged prior to packing and shipping. I was able to push broken shelves back into place but the break/crack is visible when filled with items. It is still sturdy in-spite of the breaks at the end of the shelves. I will keep them but if I decide I want more I will probably try another seller. I am thinking about ways to cover the shelves with contact paper or paint to hide the breaks/cracks. Otherwise I love these. Seems to be hit or miss if you get a broken one on not.

I got this set to hold scissors and markers for my scrapbooking supplies. Very happy with the set. They don't connect to each other but I had some small metal clips and just put them together the way I wanted and clipped them together. Thicker plastic than I thought, so seem to be pretty sturdy. I like that it is white-ish but not see through. Good value!

I like to use different colored pens and markers for different tasks (taking notes, grading my students' exams, etc., and keeping them in round pencil cups just jumbled them up. This allowed me to organize them beautifully so I can go right for the kind I want each time. Simple but perfect solution if you have a large pen and marker collection!

I dwelled on how I wanted to organize my pens and markers for a long time before settling on these, and I'm so happy I did! See the before and after photo (one additional shelf thing not pictured). It's so satisfying to see it all set up, organized by color.Granted, I did use some creativity to get things in place. Details about that in case you're a neat freak like me: The slots sadly only fit 6 mildliners across (I thought they'd fit 7), so I rolled up and taped a flashcard to fit in the empty spot at the end of the first row (e.g., to the left of the bright red one) so the top row wouldn't be uneven and mess up the bottom. And I used cardboard to make an insert to hold my tombows up. But I got where I wanted in the end!

These are perfect pencil and pen organizers in terms of size and angle and sturdiness!However they are all separate units...so I used double sided tape to stick them together as they are shown. Just could not give the product more than three stars because nowhere does it say 5 pieces.

Grand daughter does artwork and loves these for all her pencils, colors etc.
