Works great at local dirt track.
Overall Works as intended. Not so great on the noise canceling but works great at local dirt tracks with a scanner/Radio to listen to tower chatter. Would recommend for basic Scanner listening. also works for other things as well. shuts out some of the noise, so it is a little more tolerable.

Worked as it should
Took these to the 2022 Daytona 500. Worked for what I needed it for. They blocked out 95% of the noise from the crowd and cars so I was happy with that.

Reasonable for the price but needs improvement
These are priced appropriately for the quality you are getting. If you're close to the track they will not suffice however. I opened mine up, packed them with foam and sealed them with silicone and that helped tremendously but they're still not good enough to be trackside near a turn. If you're on a straight piece of track they're good with foam stuffing inside but on a turn you're going to have too much time when you can't hear anything. I believe if you use an inline headphone amplifier it would be better but by the time you do that you would have been much better off purchasing a better designed headset.I didn't give it 1 star because it is not advertised to be a high quality headset and I didn't give it 5 stars because after you own it you will understand why the higher quality ones are more expensive. In summary, if you purchase these then do yourself a favor and buy the $1.99 air conditioner trim foam from Lowes and stuff it in behind the speaker for a vast improvement. But if you really want to hear well shell out another $50+ and get a higher quality headset.

Good headphones, need better size adjustments
I bought this to go with a RadioShack Pro-444 Race Scanner and really do like the headphones. They only have one drawback, and that's the way the size adjustment works. Basically, you just push/pull the ear piece on each side to increase/decrease the size. However, I find that for me this is just a little off. When fully extended the headset is slightly too large and doesn't fit over my ear properly on one side or the other. I usually have to adjust one side back down just a nudge to get a comfortable fit. This would be fine, if there was some mechanism to hold it in place, but it eventually reverts back to the full extension. This means that I spend a lot of time adjusting the headset for comfort during the race.

They have good sound quality and can adjust the volume of each ...
I wore these headsets with a race scanner at the April nascar race at the Richmond raceway in 2017. They have good sound quality and can adjust the volume of each ear piece. The ear padding is comfortable and fit well when wearing it over my hat and sunglasses. The downside of this headset is that it does not reduce sound all that well over nascar engines. They are made more for loudness of the speaker as opposed to reducing outside sound. Might be better for other racing sports but hard to hear in nascar. My friend had the 3M work tunes hearing protector headset which I tested out and worked really well. Those reduce outside sound alot due to the built in ear protection. I recommend those. They can plug into a race scanner and do not have to utilize the AM/FM function.

The small 1 mile track at Dover stays pretty loud. At times it is difficult to hear ...
It got the job done at the track. Ordered it for my wife as it was her 1st NASCAR race. The small 1 mile track at Dover stays pretty loud. At times it is difficult to hear the broadcast even turned all the way up. Overall it blocks out a good amount of noise and lets you hear enough to know what is happening on the track.

Not new equipment.
A bit of scuff wear on each of the ear pieces. But the headsets do work good.

You cannot hear thru headphones at the races even with full volume!

Not a bad headset to wear with your scanner at the race ...
Not a bad headset to wear with your scanner at the race track. Blocked out much of the outside noise, but was a little weak when a mass of cars were right in front of you. Good deal for the price.

''just the job''
i needed a headset so i could listen to my scanner Bearcat UBC3500XLT 2500 Channel Handheld Scanning Receiver in private, not bad, they do the job nicely and dont cost the earth.volume can be adjusted for each ear with a small knob on each side, and they have plenty of padding so they feel quite comfortable.i recommend this headset because it stops my other half from moaning at me when i use my scanner.
