I live in an area where the electric goes out every time the wind blows. I meant to purchase some lighting to use when this happens, preferably with a remote or on/off switch. In my haste, I did not thoroughly read the description and ordered these. Decided to put them up in my bathroom, hallway and over the front door. The areas I wanted light when the electric went out. I actually love the motion detection and see the benefits even when I have electricity. No more turning on lights on the midnight trips to the bathroom, tripping over dog toys in the hallway and light when I enter the house. These will also be great when the electricity goes out. I highly recommend these lights for all purposes.

These have been great for extra light in my closet. Only weird thing is it’ll turn on in the middle of the night waking me up.

I use these lights on my indoor staircase and upstairs corridor. A previous purchase,years ago of this same product, developed battery grunge so I needed to replace my lights. I don't use the Velcro strip provided, I just remove it and save for some other thing.

Really like them. Only issue is the adhesiveness isn't too strong.

These lights work well but only with some fairly quick adjustments I found in other reviews. If you are not willing to do these adjustments, I would not recommend buying the lights.For the first adjustment people recommend blocking the photocell with black electrical tape because otherwise the lights will only work if it is completely dark. I added the lights under cabinets and that area will almost never be completely dark so they would not work without this adjustment. After blocking the photocell, the motion sensor was trigger the lights too often for me. I blocked it so the motion needed to be closer to trigger. This was less annoying and will also save the battery life. Speaking of, I purchased rechargeable batteries. I have not had them for long enough to need to recharge yet but it is probably a good idea long-term to get rechargeable batteries instead of single use for these.

Love that these have motion sensors. Perfect for closets.

9 boxes this time and 7 previously and they jack me around over 1 light not working -- I was told to take pictures so they could see it --Im 81 i have no idea i do know how to return and i know if 1 doesn't work -- oh and i know bad service

I have 20+ of these and have been using these for the past year. Work great!
