PTZ POE IP 2MP Security Dome Camera with 20X Optical Zoom Pan/Tilt IR Night Vision Support for Indoor and Outdoor Security IP66 Waterproof

This is a POE PTZ security camera from a great company. It can be used independently or connected to your NVR. I was able to connect it to my Amcrest 8 channel NVR with its ONVIF compatibility. This leads me to believe that it will work fine with any NVR with ONVIF. I have a lot of experience with NVR systems and can say that this camera is a real winner! Solid construction and fantastic customer service. When I emailed the company with a question to check how their response time was, they immediately responded to me.Connection: ONVIF is not quite "plug and play" like plugging in a new mouse to your computer. I simply followed the instructions on my NVR for how to add an ONVIF camera and it worked great. Basically you might need to reset your NVR like it's a first time install and let the setup wizard do its thing to find all of your cameras. Worked great for me. You would want to call your NVR's support number if you have issues since I can confirm there are no problems with the camera itself.Image: The 5MP image is super clear! What REALLY sets this camera apart from the other ones like it, is the 20X optical zoom! The competing cameras only have about 4X zoom. This is a big difference if you're really trying to see something far away in detail. The nighttime image with IR lights is great as well. No glare issues from the integral IR lights. Fast smooth frame rates. Make sure your NVR supports 5MP or higher :) I will be attaching sample pics shortly.The PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) works flawlessly and is VERY quiet. I hate loud PTZ cameras. I don't want to attract the attention of someone while to camera is doing an auto-pan of the area. Anyway this one is quiet and fast.The camera comes with everything you need to setup and mount the camera. It even comes with a POE injector, in case you are not connecting to a POE NVR.Audio: I have not tested the audio in/out for this camera. It does have the capabilityI will update my review as time goes on. If something goes wrong I will definitely alter my review, so if you don't see anything, that means everything is still working great!

I thought I found the perfect "4K Ultra HD 8 megapixel PoE" outdoor "bullet camera. Then I installed it and used the 16x "DIGITAL Zoom." Extremely disappointed. Even more embarrassed when my wife took a greater detailed license plate picture with her cell phone.After backtracking, to identify the error in my ways, I learned of the importance of bit rate, frames per second, compression and image complexity. Short story, when you need zoom capabilities do not purchase a fixed lens camera. An "Optical Zoom" is what you need. A PTZ camera is even better.My Amazon search identified a $380 name brand PTZ with 4X Optical Zoom and this JideTech 20X Optical PTZ PoE Camera. I'm relieved and ecstatic I picked this one, and I own two indoor cameras of the more expensive brand.The image quality of distant objects, people, letters and numbers is far superior than any other brand I could find at this price. I have attached some photos for a general idea.REMEMBER!!!!Upon starting the camera's setup you need to log in to its IP address in order to configure it for locating on your network. I was able to do this with no issues. The camera is set up using a Synology NAS with Surveillance Station running in an ONVIF profile.I emailed JideTech and was surprised at how quickly they replied with answers to my questions regarding firmware and their enthusiasm for feedback regarding their equipment.

This High Speed 5MP H.265 PTZ POE IP Security Dome Camera with 20X Optical Zoom Pan/Tilt and Two Way Audio is totally awesome. This thing moves so fast it will make your head spin. Why buy an industrial name brand camera for 3 or 4X the price when you can have one of these? Time will tell if it can last through an Arizona summer and our dust storms. I will let you know my findings after a full year.The IP address is displayed on the unit as well as an easy QR code that makes setup super easy using their software. Image quality is a vast step above a 2 MP camera that I tested previously. Night vision is clear with 4 large IR emitter LEDs and the motor runs quietly and FAST! This comes with a POE Power Supply and a Small ethernet jumper cable to make installation easy. The camera hangs down below the mounting bracket so if you desire you can mount it so you can get full 360-degree visibility. The camera takes about 2 to 2.5 minutes to cycle and be ready from a dead start. If you live in a cold wintery location I don't think you will have much of a problem with freezing as this camera seems to run a bit warm. The upper shroud may get iced from leaky water from a roof or overhang but I cannot tell for sure because I don't have many problems with ice in AZ.The camera connects easily To an NVR that uses a POE Switch or just a regular 4, 8, 20, 16 port switch and coupling each camera with its own POE supply / power injector. Note: The closer the POE supply is to the camera the better the voltage supply will be. This camera supports both its own software or ONVIF, Blue Iris or plugged into your NVR.Night Vision is incredible!! Super clear and the zoom works great. Don't expect to zoom in on license plates like they do in the movies but the zoom ratio is substantial. It is not pixelated like a digital zoom. The zooming on this camera is done with an actual lens.Jide Tech customer response is good via email. You can try to call but with time differentials and depending who answers you could possibly have a little communication difficulty but everyone at Jide Tech tries to help.Overall I like this product. The support person, Wen, was awesome. The first camera I received didn't function properly. We was very responsive, apologized for the issue, and helped with offsetting shipping charges. Wen proactively contacted me to see how the replacement camera worked. Throughout the various emails, Wen was very professional, responsive and knowledgable. Hands down the best support I've received.The camera is awesome too. I have not yet figured out how to capture great images from BlueIris, so these snapshots aren't as crisp as the video stream, however, you can see the first image at No Zoom, and the second image at 20x Zoom. The white boathouse in the second image is about 4km away.And yes, I need to mount the camera a bit better :-)

Camera was easy to install and setup. Picture quality is very good and like that it is POE. Connected to an NVR for easy recording. Would buy again.
