NOT A SSD DRIVE
After searching for the best SSD drive wit the most capacity i found ths product. It is not an SSD drive as listed. It is a regular 2GB hard drive in a metal case with syickers that say if sticker removed warranty is void. Needless to say after plug ing it in and checking its properties it is a standard mechanical hard drive. Without even having to open the case you case or checking its properties you can feel its vibration from the mechanical drive. This listing is fake buy the real thing don't get taken for a sucker like i did.

SSHD Mis-Represented as SSD
One star for me too, my bad for not reading the fine print, I searched for SSD and this came up in my Amazon results. I failed to understand the nuance of SSHD vs. SSD. Again, my bad for just not understanding. That said, a 5400 RPM drive is not a solid state anything. The second I plugged this thing in it spun up. In reality, the merchant should probably remove SS out of the description, it's just flat out false.

Hybrid Drive
I thought I was buying an SSD drive. It's actually a hybrid drive. The bottom line is it doesn't have the speed of an SSD drive. It is only marginally faster than a mechanical drive, but still costs almost as much as an SSD drive. If you want speed, pay up for an SSD drive. I personally don't think this one is worth the money. I returned this item.

Orginially Listed As SSD (IT IS NOT)
Orginially Listed As SSD (IT IS NOT)And that would be excusable if it wasn't incredibly slow.

130 MB/s
I thought the price was too good to accurately reflect fast transfer speeds. The highest transfer speed I could achieve was around 130 MB/s (usb C to usb C). This falls short by far to my Seagate Fast SSD 1Tb and my Sabrent Rocket M.2 2Tb. If you want speed, this falls short by hundreds of Mb/s.This transfer was done over usb C 3.2 from an Intel M.2 drive in my motherboard.

SSHD 2TB: Slow as molasses... Died almost 3 weeks in.
This review is for the 2TB external SSHD.I was given this as a gift for my brand new gaming laptop to store my games library. I must have written over 1.5TB of game data within two to three days. On average it wrote games from Steam, Origin, and Xbox at a rate of about 25mbps. Not too slow, but a regular 7200rmp HDD I own that is almost 5 years old keeps pace with it. Never dropped it, and kept it in a fabric sleeve to keep static and physical rattling at a minimum. I don't quite know what happened but about 3 weeks in, the drive is no longer recognizable to windows. Returned for a standard 7200 rpm drive with twice the capacity for the price.

Not a SSHD
I bought it a year ago before all of these reviews but it never really felt like a SSHD and now that I'm transferring all data to another external because this one is about to expire... I realized this is not a SSHD. I used it for one year exactly and am now looking to use the warranty on it and purchase a new one. I'll be listing the new one they send me for sale.
