Great story, beautifully filmed. Funny, sensitive, nuanced acting performances. Moving. This was a return to the true subject matter of Ritesh Batra. See his much earlier film, The Lunchbox. Regarding the other 'reviews' here - you need to elect Subtitles on your smart TV. This is a film made in a language that is not English. Why would you assume that subtitles for English would be default? A large number of folk around the world do not speak English.

I loved this slow paced focus on a relationship that exists only in thought at first and builds gradually and beautifully, to an intriguing concludion. Beautiful cinematography. I loved it.

It captures a story between two people who meet and instantly connect. It's a different kind of love story.

I was looking forward to watch this film but no subtitles, there should be a warning, how can I get my money back?

A gentle love story that builds gently in an unexpected way between two people from different backgrounds with differing expectations on them yet with a common pressure to marry correctly. They find an unexpected connection that emerges gradually and simmers in an understated way. The ending leaves the viewer to imagine what happens next between them. In terms of style an interesting contrast to what can often be less subtle portrayals in western culture. I found its subtlety heart warming and affecting😊

Unfortunately I couldn’t enjoy the movie as it’s in Indian with no subtitles so be cautious before you rent or buy it
