Great little basic Kitchen Torch
This is a great little torch to have in the kitchen to use on Creme Brulee or roast a pepper or two. The downer is, it is a bit hard to light and there isn't a lock switch. It is small and the fuel doesn't last long either. For those reasons I can only recommend for occasional kitchen use and not for any craft uses.Having said that, it is useful to melt and roast things in my kitchen. It is smaller than my other hand held torch and fits on a shelf nicely. I also like that it came with a tiny can of butane fuel and assorted filling nozzles. I do wish they had a holder because I know I will lose them within a month.

Nice Flame, but Hard to Light
Has a good, hot, windproof flame but is hard to light due to the child safety feature. I would recommend a brand without the safety feature if you do not have children.

Great torch. Bad instructions.
Handy pro-tip: use the instructions right here on the Amazon page to find out how to fill your new torch. The included instructions are abysmal and now that I've returned to the product page, I see that Amazon, or Zippo, saw fit to include actually useful instructions on how to get the butane out of the little canister and into the torch itself. For me, it was confusion. There's the torch, empty, and a bottle of butane. Under the cap are some red plastic tubes attached by a sprue like plastic models might have. Nowhere in the instructions included in the package does it tell you what those are or how to use them. I thought maybe they were for safety, like little guards to keep the metal tube in the butane bottle from being bent or something. So i attempted to fill the torch without them, and the instructions were unclear about how exactly to fill it up, so I wound up (according to this product page's instructions) filling it up when the torch was the right way up - in other words, upside down from the way you're SUPPOSED to fill it up (which is upside down - have I confused you yet?) I must have done okay because the bottle appears to be empty and the torch works. It's easy to light - basically just use your hand strength to "squeeze" the two buttons (one in front, like a regular trigger, along with a secondary safety button at the back.) These buttons fall naturally where your hand is so it should be fairly easy for most people to ignite. Once it's lit, you don't need to keep pressing the second button.Neat little torch. I used it to light my charcoal grill and to help brown some marshmallows we were heating over the stovetop burner for smores. Looking for more things to light on fire.

WASTED MONEY!
I followed the directions exactly & spent an hour trying to get this piece of crap to light. It never would light. I might as well have flushed my money down the toilet. Now--still have a problem, and no torch! Will NEVER buy this brand again!

Not as precise a flame as I would like
===Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with the manufacturer and always write from my true experience. But please note that I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review.===Review begins:The kit includes the torch and a small can of butane. Period. No extra tips. Not a precise flame control, so not really good for soldering jewelry. It's ok at sweat welding copper tubing but not much more. Considering it is made by Ronson I kind of expected a little more. The flame control is not real precise, and a full fuel fill up only lasts 15 minutes, or just long enough to sweat weld a few copper joints or MAYBE make a creme brulee.I will just say that this will only be an emergency backup for us in the shop. It will not be a full time heavily used mini torch.End of Review===Thank you for taking a minute out of your busy life to read my review. Please let me and Amazon know if you found this review helpful (or got a laugh out of it) by clicking on the “Helpful” button below. I appreciate your support and thank you in advance. I receive no monetary compensation for my reviews, but try to help potential buyers make an informed choice.

Awesome for cigar lighting
Yep you read the headline correctly. This is my go to lighter when I need a cigar lit perfectly. The combination of the high heat and long, controllable flame make it the perfect tool to get around the cigar for that initial light.Comes with a small amount of butane.Read the directions when filling up though, as it seemed to help mine to fill it right side up and let the butane settle for a few minutes before starting.

Good idea so-so execution
I' ve used a variety of torches using propane, butane tanks, and butane filled into the device. All work well, but I'm partial to butane, as it can get quite hot. This could be a great device, but it just falls flat.It fills kinda easily, but it ends up spraying a little bit when you insert and remove the butane canister to fill. That being said, it's not messy, just inefficient. Onced filled, it goes south. For starters the unit is oddly small--like child sized, except for the fact that it's a torch. That makes it harder than necessary to hold, and it's hard to use. You need to squeeze hard and also just right. It's a PITA. The flame thus is hard to control. My other torches just work. Sure you may need to tweak the air flow to get the flame just right, but they just work. Here, it's a mess. It feels more like a cheap knock off than the product of a company that makes butane and lighters. It can work, but it's just not great. It's 2019, and basic stuff like this should just work.Get an Iwatani Torch instead.

Bad Instructions
The instructions for filling are wrong in the included instructions, have other tip colors and such. The torch itself is easy to use, it's quite compact and small, and butane torches aren't super hot, and not a huge flame here, but it works well enough for shrink wrapping, starting fires, etc.

Does not come with fuel
Seems like a good little torch, however it does not come with a canister of butane as stated, and the fuel tank is shipped empty.
