Perfect fitment no leaks
I was replacing the N54B30 valve cover anyway and read about the issues with the PCV valve on the stock application. DINAN stage 2 tune, so not running massive boost, but you should consider this product.Failed PCV valve and vent hose (check valve built into vent hose) can lead to leaking oil/burning oil problems. Since the PCV system was built into the valve cover, totally recommend replacing the valve cover, add this PCV valve, and a new PCV vent hose to keep things running optimally. This PCV valve is recommended by other BMW well known tuners as well, but happened to be at a good price here with better shipping options. Well worth the money, pleased with my purchase, will buy again when the new valve cover needs to be replaced.

Great upgrade compared to the OEM unit.
I got this as it was recommended by the manufactures of the new upgraded turbos I am installing on my E90 335i N54 BMW. The OEM unit is made from plastic, both the internal valve and the exterior housing. That to me was the biggest difference which impressed my straight away. Old plastic has a tendency to fade, dry out, and crack rendering the component as less then useful. This bad boy is made for aluminum and it anodized a cool chrome gray color. This new part came with fresh O-Ring. I removed the old unit using a 13mm combination wrench. Prior to removal of the PCV unit I did remove the drivers side fuel line fully on the drivers side and then loostened the alternate side a half a turn allowing me to swing this silver metal tube back and out of the way. With clear access a simple 13mm wrench fits on the exterior housing when removed exposes the PCV valve itself. It is able to be removed with your fingers most of the time, mine needed the additional effort afforded by a small pair of bent nosed needle pliers. With a low powered tug out the PCV valve came. I then used my finger to feel inside and remove the old O-Ring. To complete the install I inserted the new aluminum PCV valve into the new aluminum exterior housing, fitted the new O-Ring supplied and threaded the unit back into the receptical for this little system and snugged down with said 13mm ratcheting combo whence. Keep in mine this aluminum housing is metal being received in to a plastic space, do not over tighten, the plastic could crack. We all know how proud BMW is of their plastic parts, so making the mistake could end up costing a fair amount of loot. So be mindful and don't Godzilla that bad boy too tight. Remember to reattach the fuel line starting with the drivers side ensuring there is no cross threading. Before the drivers side fuel line it fully snugged down, tighten the alternate side snug then return to the drivers side and give it that last bit to ensure it is snug, again be mindful of over tightening. After you replace the plastic underhood bits and bolt them in place you are now the proud DIYer to be rocking the most up to date PCV system available. It will begin to operate right way allow for all your Moorhead dreams to become real. Good Luck and remember to keep the rubber side down. Cheers!

Fits perfectly in an N54 engine
Fits as an upgraded replacement for the original PCV valve. A month after installation I still have my catch can clear of any oil. It means this PCV valve is holding up pretty well even when hitting peak power with 21psi boost.Very sturdy, well constructed.

Saved me from buying a new n54 valve cover because I broke the oem one
Great quality. Just be careful when you tighten it. If you do it to much you will break your valve cover. Always never over tighten stuff on bmw.

No longer smoking from exhaust when coming to stop
Was having smoke from exhaust when coming to a stop. Removed old PCV valve and the diaphragm was not seating. Installed the FTP one and no more smoke.
