I was surprised on the quality and sharpness of these cutters! They cut three big fluorocarbon line knots like a champ so perfect for fly fishing with small leaders and tippit! Had mine for a few fishing seasons now. It’s holding up well. The clipper function is a must have for any fisherman. It Doesn’t include any directions on how to use it to tie hooks. I had to YouTube it to see how to do it. It’s a bit awkward if you have bigger hands.

This product is well worth the money. The fit and finish is superb. I like the nail tying tool, and the hook eye cleaner. I use this trout fishing and sometimes the eye of the hook has glue in it.. this is really nice to clean it out with. Has a file to sharpen the hooks too. All and all, this is a excellent Item and you get 2 of them. Great Deal if you ask me.

I recommend any fisherman have these on them. Saves a lot of time and it's quick. And I am glad I have them and I can lend one to a friend as we are fishing. So it's nice having two of them.

These nippers are bigger than expected. I am used to very small ones, but these are probably 3-4 inches long. The head is wide and I found that on hooks size 16 and smaller it can be tough to cut the knots easily. They also do not seem to be as sharp as other nippers I’ve used. Overall they work but require some extra effort and conscious thought. I would look elsewhere.

Gifted one to my brother and kept the other for myself. We both enjoy fishing and find this item a necessity. Clip it on your belt loop and it will be easily accessible to clip tag lines or to change lures.

Bought this to assist with tying knots. Depending on what methods you used this might not be as fast but is more solid. Great little tool to have and is like a Swiss army knife for fishing.
