Might be worth it to size up one size
I had a feeling the fit would be slightly smaller than the size indicates so I went a size larger than normal. I bought one last year that felt a bit snug. This one fit perfectly, so I am glad I did go up a size. The actual dirndl isn't very forgiving and the shirt sleeves are a bit tight if you don't, at least that is what I have found. Beautiful though, and I will thoroughly enjoy it this weekend!

Defective & too small
I really liked this dress, and I wish it would have worked out. Unfortunately mine came defective. The white top was sewn into itself, so it made the top very crooked. I could have fixed it myself, but the dress was also too small. I have a 30 inch waist, so I ordered the size 40 (Which says it is a 33.1 inch waist), and I couldn't even zip the side of it up. So sad, because the detail on the dress is wonderful. I did not exchange because I needed an outfit for Halloween and it was too late to reorder.

Order up significantly!
I measured myself 3x and then sized up anyway, this was still too small and I couldn't finish zipping it unless I removed the blouse. In addition, the skirt was at least a foot longer on me than it was on the model. Hit me all the way at the ankles. Shame since the quality was otherwise higher than I had expected.

Good Quality 3-Piece Dirndl
I typically wear a 4/6 for dresses & 34/36 B bra, and am 5’4” 125lb athletic frame. I ordered up a size (to a 38) based on previous comments of the dress being small, but the 38 was WAY too big on me! Just adjusting the apron to fit tighter made the dress look ill-fitting, and since I am shorter, it was a little too long for my liking (a little past mid-calf, although it could easily be hemmed). I did order a size 36 from the same brand (different style) and that dress fit perfectly – guessing if I ordered the 36 in this style it would have fit much better. Each piece (blouse, apron, dress) is separate and overall the quality of the dress is better than I anticipated. The only major gripe I had, and as others have mentioned, the blouse sleeves are SO tight. If you have any arm muscles at all, you’ll likely run into the same problem.

Nice outfit
Even though I had to return the first size as it was smaller than advertised, the next size up fits well and the sewing is done very well, I like this outfit very much.

Good costume, but not a high quality dirndl
Costume type dirndl, not the real thing . Does not have boning and super corset style fit. The black fabric on the skirt is a very thin cotton, not at all high quality. If you have ever owned a Berchtesgarten or Münchener dirndl, you will be disappointed with the lack of high quality fabric and the generic cut and fit. back zipper is inexpensive, very small zipper pull. The apron has nowhere near the pleats as good German dirndls. This dirndl costs 100.00 and for that price I expected better fabric with deep seams. No room to let this dirndl out. All good dirndls have a pocket in the skirt...there is NO pocket!

Perfect dirndl
I was looking for a nice dirndl to wear to Oktoberfest. I did not want a cheesy costume one that looked cheap. This is gorgeous! I could not be happier with it. Since it is a longer length, I will have it hemmed to be knee length, but besides that, it is perfect! I love the green and purple and could not be happier with this purchase.
