Overall this stand is decent. its made of 3 ply bamoboo (think plywood but bamboo). Should be strong enough, moisture/spill resistant. Minor cosmetic flaws on the surface (looks like something abrasive got caught under the orbital sander and left swirl marks everywhere) but not noticeable once the computer is in place. It will get the job done IF..... (and this is ALWAYS the gamble with buying off Amazon) the seller sends a replacement. 3 of the pre-drilled holes on the critical side are too large. Screws won't take and so that side (the side with the storage) is loose and won't stand test of time. You could always fill the holes, glue the joint and tap some new pocket screws but not everyone knows basic wood joinery.

We purchased a riser similar to this for a workstation and it was so nice, this is now our third. It comes in pieces with the tools and instructions to put it together. It's intuitive and easy to assemble -- this one came with phillips head screws rather than hex screws and an allen wrench. I used both a manual screwdriver as well as a drill to tighten the fasteners and make it secure. You can put the cubbies on either side by flipping the top panel -- I accidentally put the cubbies on the left instead of the right but I prefer it! It came with more cubby dividers than there's slots for. It fits a full-sized keyboard with number pad underneath it -- which is what I prefer in a monitor stand.Be it this one or another like it, I highly recommend this style of monitor riser to anyone with a lot of office supplies that they like to keep organized and easily accessible on their desk surface.

I like this stand. I use it for my laptop and to store my wireless keyboard. HOWEVER - I'd never put a drink in the spot designated for one. The slot to hold a phone isn't wide enough to do so for a phone that has a cover on it. One of the dividers for the small compartments arrived broken.

I purchased this item to revamp my office space.It was super easy to put together with an electric drill vs the screwdriver that’s packaged.My computer fits perfectly but I love the built in features even more.I’ve gotten so many compliments.

A great fit for my desk - assembles quick/ little bit of a strange smell but that dissipated within a day or so.I am able to put a monitor on top, my MacBook and an external hard drive on bottom and my pc laptop in middle shelf. It is a good size without being a monstrosity as my “office” doubles as our dining room with the table in the middle of the room and very visible from the rest of our house.

Super easy to put together and provides a lot of good organization to my desk. A little wobbly - the provided screws didn't exactly align with the holes, but for the most part it's secure.

Very sturdy bamboo. All drilled holes lined up, it even came with a little screw driver. I found one identical to this on office depot’s website for $11 more, so this was well worth it.

Visually this is piece is stunning and looks great, however the actual build quality of my particular unit was not up to par. A screw has already fallen out from underneath and won't screw back into place, thankfully the screw is nonessential to holding up the stand, however not everyone may be as lucky (Or unlucky ?)As a result or perhaps because of some other design issue, the stand doesn't feel quite as solid as I'd like it to, but this isn't a deal breaker for me. I am no longer using this as a monitor riser and have purchased another dual stand, but I would advise those who plan to put a heavy or large monitor on this to double check the build quality of their specific unit.

The stand is actually pretty tall. If you are shorter (I am 5'3" for reference), you may find it raises your monitor a but too high. I had to tile my monitor all the way down and raise my chair quite high. It was super SUPER hard to put together. The instructions aren't clear and the instructions I got didn't print properly so even if they were clear half of the instructions were just not printed (like???? This is awful??? Why would you include this???). If you don't have a good screwdriver or a drill you won't be able to assemble this...at all. The little screwdriver they include is a complete joke and doesn't work. I'm just lucky I had the correct screwdriver at home or there is no way I could have put this together. It is quite large though, quite wider and taller than expected but it is very sturdy.

The instructions aren't clear - the package said it was a cheese board :) - looked at the picture on Amazon to figure out how it went together, not all the holes were drilled through and it came with two extra pieces. It didn't take too long to put together and it is exactly as the picture shows, overall it is a nice product.

L'objet est esthétique, mais il est rempli d'inconvénient. à ce prix, j'aurais dû acheter assembler de qlqn qui travaille le bois près de chez moi.

Absolutely love this monitor stand! It works well with the slightly somewhat small desk that I have. It is very sturdy, my phone fits in the cellphone holder, and just looks fantastic.I love that I was able to choose which side the slots would be on as I really needed them to be on the left side rather than the right.I truly do love this stand, best purchase I've ever made.
