I got this to replace an existing, brand-name humidifier that stopped working. After using this for a few weeks, this is much better than the one we had! This humidifier helps reduce the dry skin and makes the air easier to breathe. So far, this humidifier has been humming along pretty nicely. What we like about this one: Humidity levels in your home between 40-60% can make the air feel warmer and improve your breathing comfort, sleeping, nasal congestion & dry skin - lower health issues. This one is designed really well for day to day usage. The top is flat, so it's easier to lay it flat on the counter and fill it up. Our previous ones has a curved top, so we essentially have to hold it to fill it up, which is cumbersome. If you have those types of humidifier, you will know what I mean. This thing holds a lot of water. Large 1.5 Gallon/5.8 L capacity allows up to 80 Hours Runtime. Our old one only has 2 levels (low and high), so this dial will help a lot to attain the correct levels.It will automatically turn off when water level is low. The humidifier will stop misting and the LED indicator will become red, which is designed to ensure the safety your family.The nozzle helps us direct the mist. This is helpful for us since we put humidifier close to the wall, and the nozzle directed the mist away from the wall. We don't know what kind of issues will arise if the walls get too humid from the mist. The Rotating Button for easy control to adjust mist level from low to high, making it easy to set the comfort level as you needed. 360°rotating nozzle of cool mist humidifier ensures an even level of humidity distributed in your home.I think this is a great humidifier and it'll definitely help with the dry air. We fill this up with filtered water, it puts out a cleaner mist than if we were to use tap water. But anyways, We totally recommend this one!

I really like the way this humidifier works. It puts out a lot of "steam" and help our larger Holmes humidifier keep our house at a better humidity level. We live up north where we have very cold days and nights. Our furnace if left unchecked will lower the humidity to 20 percent or even below. This thing needs pretty much daily maintenance. Not a lot but you need to read the book. Keep the base clean. Empty all remaining water from the tank before refilling. Empty the base regularly so as not to let mineral debris from accumulating. NOW for the important WARNING. After two week of working perfectly, I refilled the tank and it refused to work. I was frustrated and angry that it had failed after two weeks. I read the book again carefully. The fourth item on the check list to correct it from failing to produce mist was what was wrong. Somehow I had spilled a little extra water into the base. I don't remember doing that at all. The books says on item four to correct the "not working" problem is that the base may be overfilled. I unplugged the base and emptied it into our sink. I put back the tank and after it had glugged down to fill the base, I turned it on. Voila, it was working again. Again, use the provided brush to keep the base clean each day. This humidifier costs about the same as a winter's supply of wicks for our Holmes humidifier. This device requires no wicks. I believe it is a very good bargain. However, be prepared for a minimal amount of maintenance each day. It is certainly easier than changing wicks (filters) on a Holmes humidifier. I gave this device an overall rating of 5 stars because it works so well without needing expensive wicks. I gave it three stars for ease of use. Needing daily maintenance might be a deal breaker for some. I am fine with it. It also uses very little electrical power as compared to a steam humidifier. I plan to buy a second unit. BTW, trying to live with humidity around 20 percent is quite harmful to your health not to mention static discharge killing electronic devices like your phone.

So buying from the reviews, someone said it doesn’t leave a white haze on furniture. Well it does! The unit is smaller than anticipated but does hold a lot of water so can go for hours. We live in a very cold climate and needed it to keep our humidity higher in the winter. It does fine for our main room but the white dust all over is a deal breaker. Otherwise, the unit is quiet and does hold a lot of water. Easy to operate and clean.

Edited:I went to their website to register for warranty and the site is completely down and has been down for days.I'm sorry, I can't recommend anything from a company that is that clueless. I made sure I had the correct address from the warranty registration card that came with the product. Unbelievably stupid fools run this company.Edit 2:This spontaneously leaks water badly when the room temperature rises. Bad design.In dry Southern California and outside temps 93deg f, it can't maintain 40% in a room that is approx 260 sq ft with half of it in a low A-frame, the other half normal ceiling height. The morning started out at 40% but like I said, couldn't keep up. At night w/ lower temps it can do 40%.Not sure if this is to be expected for this kind and size of product, but I gave it 5 stars in case it was, don't want to punish unfairly.The mist is quite fine and doesn't leave any wet spot on the floor below the 2 foot elevation they recommend.
