QD 1.25 Inch Swivels Mount Quick Detach Loop Base Kit with 4 Screws + 1 nut + 1 Wrench

I bought a set of two of these for my Magpul X-22 Backpacker stock because I couldn't bring myself to spend $60 on Magpul brand inserts. The swivels themselves are durable metal construction the whole way through, and they lock in tight. However, the QD cups are a hair too short for the pre-drilled QD mounts on the Magpul stock; when you install them, you will not be able to click in the detachable loops. To fix this issue, I bought some #8 washers and stuck one underneath each cup during the installation process. With that extra little bit of space, the swivels clicked in perfectly, and I have had no issues since. Be aware, if you are buying these for a Magpul Backpacker stock, you may have to do the same thing.

I drill mine out to 1/4" and use a countersunk phillips screw to secure it to the lower trunion. It is SOLID!I get another one for the forward upper gas tube housing area. It allows me to remove the sling when cleaning.

Magpul sold these sling mounts for about $60 a pair. I saw these and decided to give them a try. They were much less expensive. They worked great. The product is make well, strong, and looks as good as the ones at magpul. They fit the recessed holes perfect. I did end up using a couple of small metal washers just to bring the nut a little further out. It was not necessary to make it work. I just felt it looked better and worked better with the screw length. They work great.

Worked on my AM15 pistol. I had to add a washer behind the nut to attach it tightly. I don’t know if I attached it correctly since there was no instructions. But it works for me.

This is a well built kit that fits MagPul stocks very well. Seems to be heavy duty.

Fits the Magpul butt stock and allows quick disconnect.

The screws included fit a rifle stock perfect. Put it on a savage model 10 to be able to remove the sling when needed.

Works as intended and is an affordable well built option to pricier options.
