I've had this for 5 months and I like it for a while. I bought it because It got really good placement on my console and I never use the CD player.The problem is that it doesn't work well with my 2006 Toyota Avalon because it has a retractable cover over the CD slot and radio controls. Since the mount sits flush with the CD slot the mount arm lightly touches the retractable cover keeping me from being able to tilt the phone up as much as I want. It was working for a wile and then the arm lost it's strength over the month and now it flops down whenever I hit a bump. The other issue I've been working around it the base unit pushes against the buttons controlling the radio presets that are just below the slot. Not sure how I dealt with that for 5 months, but I did. The moral is that if you have a 2006 Toyota Avalon limited you will be limited in the use of this car mount until you give up.

This phone mount is perfect for using my phone as a gps system or for music. It is easy to insert into the CD slot and it surprisingly sturdy. The phone will not be bouncing all over the place while you drive. There is a flip lock to keep it from falling out and it has different sized insertable clips depending on the size of the cd slot. The neck also allows the holster to adjust up and down and it spins completely around for either portrait or landscape view on your phone. Fits my iPhone 6 perfectly.

Much better than vent clips or a suction cup that constantly falls off. Didn't want to fit right at first, use the included adapters to find right fit. Spring loaded so may not be easy to put phone in with one hand if you have small hands. Tried to order from another site much earlier, which came from China, and could not get one without being lost in transit (twice). Finally tried amazon and they finally had several models. Great idea and not in the way.

Advertised as fitting iPad and devices up to 5". I was hoping this would fit my iPad mini, which is about 5" on the shortest side, but I measured and this thing doesn't even expand to 4". It also feels wobbly in my cd player, but I have not yet tried switching out the pads as it will not perform for the purpose I ordered anyway. Not sure why it's so hard to find one of these to fit a iPad mini and a phone.

The sample that I received for review fit the cd slot perfectly. And yes you can still use your cd player while the universal fit mount is in place or in use. Mount rotates a full 360 degrees for portrait and landscape view of your smart phone. Very handy not to have my phone sliding all over the center console of my truck. Looks good too.

I love this set up on my car I can see so better without blocking my view. The only bad thing is if you have a flip case it wont stay in the holder so I had to get a new case and it is working great. I really love it.Thank you so much,Irene

I really love both of these items, especially the mount. I have a Jeep so it gets a little rough during some of my adventures and this has held up perfectly. It is easy to use and takes no time to snap or unsnap my phone.

Absolutely love this product. When I first put it in it bounced a little bit so I used the extra ends that come with it. It fits snugly and no longer bounces. A lot of people that have ridden in my care have commented on how convenient it is. I use it almost every time I am in my car.
