I like the slim in obtrusive design of it, but it does not hold the echo dot 3rd gen very secure. I have it to where the power cord comes in though the bottom. I may try flipping it to the top to see if it’s any better.

It holds just fine oriented to the 3 o'clock/9 o'clock position. This allows the power cord to hang straight down. I only used one screw and it holds fine. 2 Mounting screws come in the package as well as the plastic inserts to hang it on dry wall. Sturdy plastic. Great price. You won't regret the purchase. I bought two.

well i can say it works ive put it on the wall with some trepidation the weight of the dot will make it fall, but so far so good . i wanted to mount up under a cupboard but when doing so decided not to because of this suspicion, the mount grips well but still alittle loose enough to turn the dot in the mount with no problem. wish you could just buy one also now have another sitting on a shelf.

Was hoping this would secure the device upside down. It was way to weak to hold. The plastic is weak and the the dimensions are wrong. Plus the post says you receive 2. I received 1.

easy to install but seems to not hold the dot very securely. mine has fallen out 2 times in just 2 months.

This hanger is nice, but it doesn't 100% hold a new Echo Dot, which is what it's designed for. The Dot will actually hang slightly out of the top clip, and while it's definitely secure, the thing isn't really going anywhere, it just doesn't look right. I ordered 1 and received 2 though, so that was nice. Don't know what I'll do with the spare though.

Didnt hold the dot 3 in place well at all. Fell right out
