This product is Junk and a horrible experience.
I was less than pleased. This carburetor was junk. After spending hundreds on a certified Yamaha repair mechanic to tell me that the carburetor will never perform correctly. Then after returning this item I was charged $75 restocking fee.

Looked good just like stock carburetor. But works fair at best.

Great carb
Bought it to drop into a 99 yz400f. If you have considered this swap, do it. Easy swap in, minimal adjustments necessary. Carb dropped in and fired up second kick. Way better than the leg breaker I originally had

Surprisingly adequate
Hello all, 99 WR400 owner here. Anyone with a yz or wr400 from this year knows the factory carb is a piece of crap with a mind of its own. I reluctantly bought this because I don't like buying Chinese parts for my bike. The install process was relatively normal aside from having to get creative with the throttle cables. Also, my factory boots put up a fight with the pucky carb. Through force and determination I got it installed anyway. After 3 kicks, it fired up. I took it around the block and even to some desert close to my house. The bogging was gone, and it was plenty responsive. So far so good, even on whatever factory jets were in the carb. I'll have to figure something out for the hot start, but I'm pleased so far. Will update if it turns into a piece of crap.

Ran great for 2 weeks.
Carb operated well out the box for my yz400f. Before the bike had to be started under a full moon, kicking for a half hour while chanting to the bike gods. Now, 1-3 kicks cold and it’ll fire. (Hot is a different story but it’s a 400.This would be a 5 star review but as of lately, the carb is overflowing with gas. I turn the petcock on and 30 secs later gas is pouring out the lines as the bowl gets filled. It’s as if something like the needle valve is stuck but I’m no carb guy to say 100%.Hopefully the seller reads this and reaches out with a warranty plan because when it’s working right, it’ll get the job done.

Poor quality
Leaked fuel and float was malfunctioning. Had to swap gaskets and parts from old carb. Can’t even get the bike running. And can’t return this. Absolute garbage
