Good
Sound quality wasn't as superb as I expected and dual speakers is really weird and somewhat hard on the ears to listen (I really should've got a mono speaker or the next model up with speakers all around), but the sound quality is good once you get used to positioning the speaker correctly so that dual speakers don't over power one ear

My wife loved it so much i gave it to her
I'm a loyal Beacon Phoenix Speaker fan. About two years ago i bought the original Beacon Bluetooth Speaker. My wife loved it so much i gave it to her. Lo and behold Beacon came out with the Beacon Speaker 2. This one has a added value of a on and off switch. Outstanding. The shipping speed was amazing. Very , very, fast. I can't thank them enough for the improved model 2. Great Buy.

Highly recommend
My brother went through a throat surgery & needed a speaker for his voice app. The range on this is perfect, and it is so clear. It's helping a recovering patient in so many ways.

Sound quality is great, but not a speaker phone.
I bought the Beacon Phoenix 2 Bluetooth speaker in the hopes of having both a portable speaker and an audio conferencing device for my iPhone. Its a great speaker, but it is a horrible conference call device because the micro-phone on the Beacon Phoenix 2 has terrible audio pick-up. I've done multiple test calls in different environments and every time the person I'm calling says that they can barely here me and that I sound like I'm in a tin can. So I cannot use this for conference calls. This is a big disappointment and I'm back to square one.The pros: *It excels as a Bluetooth speaker - It provides very rich sound *It pairs with the iPhone extremely easily *It comes with a USB cable for charging and you know when its charging and when its done *Buttons are easy to useThe cons: *The built-in micro-phone included for use as a speaker phone was a waste of time *Cannot be used for conference calling if you want the callers to understand youI would recommend the Beacon Phoenix 2 only for listening to music. Forget about trying to use it as a phone conferencing device.

The Phoenix Saga ;)
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Rising from the ashes (of a burnt Phoenix 1?) comes the Phoenix 2!!!Not that it follows Phoenix mythology since you only need one Phoenix that's kind of the point of being one right? Dilemma.OK The sequel. Like Ghostbusters 2!Everyone following?Right. Stellar little speaker and little brother to the Blazar (a speaker I have also tested and adore) this mini mini version that holds it place in its own right. As far as mini speakers go - you can get your jam on. It is LOUD but clear and distinctive and rocks like a frog dancing inside a sock.Utah based Beacon Audio have got some nice products and I'm adding this to 'l like it' approved list. These comments are relative to the size and value for the speaker. It looks great with a very distinctive presence and color options - sounds great - and is a good size to fit in the laptop bag. On pure sound the Blazar is the better speaker but it is twice the price so your getting great value here, this is a great product in its own right especially with portability in mind.I did a basic video which will give you a feel for the product. I think this one has xmas gift written all over it.Product provided for review opinion is mine.
