Some advice for the next consumer of this product. Or for ANYONE considering purchasing: When you receive the shipment, do the following:1) Open shipping containers. There will be two boxes, packaging is VERY nice, steel frame around the components to prevent shipping damage.2) Locate instruction manual, an 8-page front-and-back with pictures and diagrams and a parts list.3) Throw the manual in the shredder or burn it.4) Contact seller and ask for an updated, revised instruction manual.5) Print that version, staple neatly.5) Then shred THAT manual as well.Because YOU CANNOT ASSEMBLE THIS PRODUCT FROM THE MANUAL. Parts are all there, manufacturing quality is very good, welding is tight and clean, powder coat is done with attention to detail. But, but, and again BUT:IF YOU ARE NEITHER AN EXPERIENCED CONSTRUCTION MANAGER OR A MASTER PUZZLE SOLVER, YOU CANNOT ASSEMBLE THIS PRODUCT. The instructions bear no resemblance to the pieces and parts. The manufacturer provides nice little stickers on [almost] every part, and in theory it should proceed like clockwork. But whoever places the stickers must work in a completely different star system from the person who drafts the manual. It's almost like they kinda just throw a random mix of stickers up in the air, and wherever they land is where they go.I got the damned thing assembled over a VERY frustrating weekend, and I gotta give credit where it's due... it looks GOOD. It looks REALLY good. But you should be prepared to place something really soft near your work area, to bang your head against. Because you will need it.

Product is very stable and manufactured well. I had concerns in reading some of the reviews from people saying "Had to drill new holes", or "Parts didn't fit" or the instructions themselves recommending 6 people to assemble. Here's the scoop.- The 2 boxes are heavy, have the delivery close or next to the assembly site. Having a saw horse or picnic table close is helpful as well.- Read entire instructions first, they are a bit confusing so …- Laying out all the parts with the marking labels UP ("A", "C" etc) will be helpful. - (Do this in the shad if possible, otherwise the metal parts will be HOT!- GROUP the parts for easy access- Be sure your bit driver matches the screw heads. My one complaint is the screws will strip easy- ROOF - this is where I heard most of the complaints. It's a puzzle and the instructions don't tell you that one side of the roof, for the identical placement... is not exactly the same size. So pay attention here to be sure you don't mix the two different sides up. We did, but once we figured it out simply swapped the pieces and they fit well.We really enjoy the new outdoor room both in the heat of the day and in the evenings. Hope you do too!

Recently bought this 10 X 12 SunJoy Gazebo on line here at Amazon. A Good Deal. It was shipped right to my home, not a case of pickup in some big box store. The driver helped my into the garage with it. When I opened the two boxes, shipped as a package of one, I was amazed by the metal frame inside the box to protect the product. It is a very solid Gazebo. There was a scrape on one of the top panels about 3 to 4 inches long. I found and recommend you buy before installing the Gazebo the following: RUST-OLEAM UNIVERSAL Metallic - Paint and Primer in One- Oil Rubbed Bronze. This way if you need to spray a spot before it goes up in the air where it will be difficult to reach, you'll have the paint available. Dominic at SunJoy helped me learn about this. The paint is almost the same color. One must realize that what comes out of a spray can is not exactly the same as what comes out of a commercial Spraying system, thus a slight difference in color. I did most of the putting together. Read the directions carefully before you start. Then follow the directions exactly as you get going. The directions will tell you to connect this to that using a certain screw. They make it sound like this is one step. It is probably one step to be repeated two or four times. I strongly recommend you put all the pieces in a place where the ones with the same ID marker on them are together, so you can have what you want without sorting through the entire parts for the part you want. The order they go onto the Gazebo is very important to follow, other wise you may get into trouble putting it together. My son and Daughter-in-law helped my put up the high and heavier parts. Otherwise it was just time consuming. I did it a few hours a day, when it was not raining. Rain in California is a wonderful thing during a drought. I am in my late 70's, so as a retiree it was not necessary for me to rush the job. I'd guess it took about 30 to 32 man hours, but we were having fun all the way along, so time was not important. My wife loves it and you know, a happy wife is a happy life. Enjoy yours. It is well made and sturdy and very attractive.
