Rotary 1998 Black Rider Grass Bag

My Snapper RE bag was 21 years old. The bottom finally gave way. I was afraid this bag would be to small. Fits perfectly, a bit too long too to bottom but a bit a tinkering solved that issue. Great Replacement!

I was so glad to find this for my 28 inch rear engine Snapper riding mower. It was easy to install and the quality seems excellent. Perhaps better than the Snapper original.

I just received this bagger but am perplexed as to how to mount it on the frame. I have started it twice and it goes on easily until I get to the fourth corner then it doesn't stretch far enough or won't give enough to get the last 12-15" onto the frame. Am I missing something? Everyone says it is easy to install.

The first thing you will notice about this catcher bag is that the mesh seems more open than the original Snapper mesh. But I have found that this replacement is stronger than the original and is less likely to tear. There may be more nylon material per square foot than the original.It is best to just cut the old bag off of the frame.You will find the joining collar and can use a hammer to open the frame and feed on the new bag.

Still using catcher, a couple of years now. May not have to buy another one

This bag seems to be of a little stronger material than the original Snapper brand bag. The netting is stiffer, also, which I hope means stronger, too.

The bag appears to be better made than the original.

Compared to an original bag, this bag fairs very well. I have now used it several times and believe I have received value for money. The original bag would have cost double/triple the price.

Reasonable priced quality replacement product. Does not come with steel bar so you need to reuse old one but that’s easy enough to do
