This is seriously wicked! I bought it to replace a camera which just didn't have the features we need or the ability to pick up a good signal from the bottom of our garden, and we're very impressed with this replacement.It's very easy to fit and picks up the WiFi signal superbly from a good distance away, allowing us to locate this in our shed with no problems. Obviously there's an element of how good your WiFi signal is for any IP camera but this camera has been able to do what is predecessor couldn't, and works at distance from our hub, through a brick wall and down a long garden. So I would say it has a very good ability to detect your WiFi.The first "problem" we encountered was that we needed the camera to be fitted upside down in our shed from the ceiling. No problem - the app for this camera allows you to flip the image the right way up. Very nifty.In terms of what else this camera can do; well, aside from the great image quality which is also accessible in HD, it can send email alerts and notifications with alarm. It allows for phone recording. It's motion detect, and has sensitivity settings. You can speak through your phone app to it and pick up sound from it, allowing two way communicative interaction. The camera can be panned from the phone!Overall this has ticked all the boxes for us and the price is impressive too.

A surveillance camera is not a security camera if it cannot store its recording of, say, a break-in by a burglar, safely away from the camera's location. For example, it's no use as a security camera if the picture or video it creates of a break-in is accessible to the burglar who could destroy that evidence by stealing or destroying the SD card or the camera. The camera is only good as a security camera if it sends the mobile phone an email with a short video clip or picture or uploads same to a website (which usually costs monthly bills, as with Ring products). I bought this camera because it claims to send out emails but, in fact, it doesn't, as their customer support subsequently admitted. The closest the camera comes to doing that is it allow users to manually save to their mobile the video of, say, a break-in, if they happen to be viewing it on their mobile 'live', as it happens, after receiving an alert. Which is of very limited use unless you're prepared to watch a live stream from the camera round the clock. So, it's not a security camera but only a very good baby monitor, with excellent picture and audio, at a good price, which lets you look in on baby if it starts crying. I sent mine back as I wanted a real security camera that saves, safely off-site, video or pictures of Burglar Bill at work, which can then be used to identify and arrest the culprit.

I've got a couple of cameras now that they are so much cheaper than they used to be. The last one I got is a static one and although the field of vision is good it doesn't move around. After getting this the other one has been relegated to garage duties where it's much better suited and doesn't need to move around.This one has some great features and the picture quality is very good and more than what I need for the living room. I like being able to operate it remotely and it's a nice piece of mind whenever we use a babysitter. Not that we don't trust our babysitter at all but it just eliminates any worries you may have at the back of your mind and we move it to the children's room. My wife is a bit of a worryer so being able to open the camera and see they're fine means we can relax.The two way speaker is good and I like being able to call the dog's name when I'm bored at work and see his ears pick up. Silly but fun. The build quality seems very good for the price and it supports micro USB storage although I didn't have a micro USB I have loads of USB sticks I don't use anymore and a few adaptors from old phones so I can have external memory. Preferable to a Micro SD card as they're all in use with cameras etc.

With the listed specification (3MP) the overall picture is only fair, not great , night vision is standard nothing to write home about and I cannot turn the the led’s off , as I have a camera by the front window , i need to be able to turn the led’s off because of the reflection at night ,it really should be a standard in settings on the app, which is also a let down , and seriously needs an update..( I have had the same app for another one of their cameras from nearly 10 years ago and it’s not changed )I have tried and purchased quite a few of these ‘ipcameras’, from £100.00 to £30.00 and under , branded and unbranded, this is not worthy of the 4.3 out of 5 feedback so it’s a 2 out of 5 overall for me , that’s camera spec, picture quality , the apps ease of use and ‘settings’.

I bought this to be able to check on my elderly dog who is having issues staying up on her back legs. I can now at last scan the whole living room to check she is ok. I have an echo spot which was fine until she moved seats it just doesn’t have a wide enough angle to capture both sofas, I tried everywhere! This little camera does what it says on the tin. Setup was done in 5 minutes and I go to work knowing I’ll be able to see if my girl has collapsed and get home to help her. Really impressed and will be sharing online to my dog groups.

This is a good value for money camera and does just what you would expect. The image quality is just about good enough but for this price its fine. It is a bit tedious to set up and was confusing too but I eventually got there. All in all good value and just right for us to keep an eye on our puppy.

Was a good camera picture quality was really good on it .wished I could of kept it but had to send it back as I was having problems with my bt router

Volume very poor. Not like the other sricam I own. Other features missing to and keeps going offline
