My unit was installed inside a climate controlled garage. It lasted less than 6 months.The crazier part is that the "monitoring software" does not notify you the inverter has failed UNLESS you happen to notice the tiny red dot on the dashboard page - or the semi-hidden blinking yellow dot on the inverter.Crazier still, my little local installer here in northern New Mexico noticed the failure - but didn't notify me or even bother to show up and see what the problem was - they just relied on the Error Code generated.Solaredge is now telling me I have to wait at least 30 days for a replacement unit!!!!!If I had the option, I would get a full credit and install a different brand inverter.Stay away from this brand - and my installer as well!!!!

I got a Solar Edge SE10000H inverter thru a California company. It showed up with no display at all. It has three tiny lights that indicate status but no display screen. After it is all installed the installer has to down load a set up APP from Apple or Google and install that on his phone or pad. Then he has to interface with the inverter and set that up. That took over an hour. Then for the owner to monitor his system he has to download an app from Apple or Google and install that on his phone or pad. Then he has to try to make that interface with the inverter. And to top it off, if you want to monitor your numbers you either have to have WiFi or let use a mobile hot spot from your phone to get it to work. If you are going to buy this, INSIST you get one with the displays on the unit so do not have to mess around with all the apps and setups. If I knew they changed the product to one that required all these externals to set up I never would have bought this product.

SolarEdge SE10000H-US was very easy to install.The one with the display is the older model do NOT get that, lots of issues, I was hell bent on that model but got the newer one, it has been up 1 year now with no issues.There application is very easy to use, it will show kWH, total kW for the day, week, month and so on.There tech support is fantastic! During the install there is a one time Set-It-and-Forget-it setup, easy-peasy!

I bought a Solar Edge inverter like the one shown. After It was paid off I can no longer monitor the Electric production of my system ! I filed a report with their so-called support and they have done nothing . There is supposed to be a 12 year warranty on it but I see that's a crock, just a scam to sell their faulty equipment ! My suggestion, don't buy from Solar edge !

Tesla installed my system. The inverter has failed 3 times and I have lost 5 months of power. Tesla finger points at SolarEdge and issues platitudes. I have to think the inverter is not well made or poorly designed, but Tesla service has been exceedingly disappointing as well.

My inverter took a crap after 15 months,,Sunrun replaced it and gave me a $77credit..sure glad I am leasing at a set price
