I have been luckily enough to spend time in the Malibu home on several occasions. Scott is a real talent and this book shines.

Absolutely stunning!

If you're tired of kitschy interior design collections featuring busy, bohemian spaces and enough shapes, colors and plants to give you a migraine - and instead crave a calm, muted palette with crisp, clean lines that speak to the enormity of space, this is your book. The photographer pays immense attention to textural detail and light and lines - finding grandeur in the simplest of objects...The perfect imperfection of a wood grain floor. A glistening stainless steel range. An expansive window wall supported by floor-to-ceiling black iron panes. The sun dancing on a honey oak cabinet. The soft linen of a sofa, or the smooth stone of a boldly modern shower. Even in a full-room photo, you'll get the texture of each raw element along with the big feeling of standing in the space. But, I especially adore the close-ups of things like sink faucets and art on shelves and corners of furniture. This book is artfully arranged and beautifully oversized and high quality print - a massive "step up" from your run-of-the-mill coffee table book on interior design.The only critical comment I have is that, based on the Amazon product photos, I expected (and hoped) the cover to be black. The cover photo is featured, but on a taupe background - an odd color choice in my opinion. Just be aware of this if purchasing to display. If you intend to enjoy the actual content as I do, though, it's still an absolutely gorgeous book.

Foram muito generosos na quantidade de imagens por projeto, para além de serem imagens de alta qualidade que retratam muito bem o trabalho incrível do Scott Mitchell.Apenas senti falta das plantas baixas, que impedem a visualização completa dos projetos.
