Just as described
No problem at all

may not fit application
the mounting holes are a correct fit for a quadrajet, but the throttle alignment is not correct for a chevy 4mv quadrajet. there are just too many variables from one carb. to another for a product to be marketed as a one size fits all based solely on brand.

Worked Great
There is no one size fits all when it comes to these brackets. I have used this one several times with aftermarket manifolds/carbs and 700r4 applications. Always have to grind/bend/modify it to make it do what I want, but this is a great piece to start with.

Doesn't necessarily fit all carbs
I had to cut off a small portion for clearance

A real winner...
This bracket is a quality manufactured item. It would have worked perfectly if it hadn't partially covered a port in the intake manifold that needed to be accessible. I used the bracket on one of the studs and welded a support brace to the back of it and it worked fine for the throttle and kick down cable. The price was right, delivery was great and quality was superb.

An exact match to the original factory bracket.
Matches the factory part that I removed from a Cadillac with an Oldmobile 307 in the salvage yard.Factory like quality, fair pricing. So good hard to believe that it is aftermarket. Good enough for my approval for use.

Not for Edelbrock carbs/manifolds!
Not compatible with Edelbrock 1406 and Edelbrock Performer manifold.First problem: must use inner bolt holes on carb. About half of the Edelbrock manifold allow this. Luckily mine was one of them, yours might not be.BUT... once you get past that hurdle, you’ll find that the bracket won’t clear the intake on the back side unless you’re using a riser.THEN, you’ll find that even with a riser, the geometry of this bracket will be waaaayyy off track. And yes, I have a geometry corrector installed on the carb itself. Bracket locates cable about an inch too far inward.AND FINALLY, you’ll discover that you can only use this bracket if you’re using a cable actuated throttle pedal. If you use a throttle rod and linkage, like I do, the rod will not be compatible with this bracket. You may be able to cut off the upper part of the bracket to make this work, but I opted to return this item instead due to all its other flaws. This is a steaming pile of junk. Most other reviews I read online only mention the problem with the inner bolt pattern. I hope this review steers people clear of this item who think that’s the only problem with this bracket.

700r4 swap made easier
I swapped a th200 trans for a built 700r4 I only realized as I got going that I would need a bracket like this. Fortunately I found the tci one on here and it works great only cost $55 at the time. My shifts are crisp and everything works great.

Not happy
Not happy with this at all. It's to narrow, when bolted in place the throttle cable and TV cable do not line up with linkage. I had to modify to get it to line up enough to be usable. I have an AVS Edelbrock carb may work better with other models.$60.00 down the drain.

Beware does not fit as advertised
It didn’t fit my carb throttle plate and was not usable on a Edelbrock 1806 AVS thunder seriesI ripped the packaging and was unable to return it

Did not fit the way it promised. Had to modify bracket.
After waiting a very long time for this bracket the holes did not line up like advertised. Had to cut and modify.
