So many uses, heathy no nicotine ciggie, great for a cuppa tea and specialised vape
The media could not be loaded. Today I am reviewing Valley of Tea Marshmellow leaves 100g, or 4oz converted. The current price £9.97 buying as a one off, or 5% off on subscribe and save, bringing the total down to £9.97.This variety of marshmellow leaves can be used for a variety of things, ie,Drinking it as tea, smoking, add texture to foods or flavour.I am a great believer of these types of leaves (herbs), I even pick myself fresh nettles, wash them and freeze, makes lovely teas, free to pick from anywhere, also add it to foods and soups. As with leaves, it’s been around generations, and the more years go by, the more I can use them for. So much more healthily for the mind, body and soul.So the marsh-mellow leaves, as mentioned 100g arrives in a packet, sealed and dry.First I need to let you know why we wanted to try these leaves out.I am an ex smoker of cigarettes, and gave up my habit, for another habit, vaping, yes I will be honest. My husband gave up cigarettes, then joined me in vaping on 6ml of Nicotine, but still smokes on and off, but always has this nicotine/tar smokers cough. For 30g of a popular tobacco roughly speaking costs around the £17+ mark, and he was going through it quite quickly. So we both looked into alternatives. Many of us ‘need’ cigarettes, or do we? Here’s the thing are we addicted to nicotine or just wanting a cigarette to have something in the hand? This thought process was going through my mind.We both read reviews on marshmellow blends and wanted to try it. So my review will have two sides, my side, and my husbands, so basically two reviews in one. I hope you find it helpful.I enjoy my vape, my habit yes, but I’ll be honest and say my vape is always in my hand. I am disabled and in awful pain. I have a private Consultant who prescribes me Cannabis ( Adven 30) through a proper well known clinic, plus THC oil not cbd. I use my vape with Cannabis placed in it to use and helps with my pain a lot. I vape it neat. I never roll a cigarette with cannabis flower, as I didn’t want to be addicted to nicotine again. When I saw this marshmellow leaf, I thought I would give it a try with a bit of my flower Bud. Because I haven’t smoked in years, I didn’t get the dizzy sensation with the nicotine, but I didn’t like the taste. I do not mean the taste marshmellow, what I noticed being an ex smoker, to me this smelt, and tasted just the same as a cigarette, except no tar, or nicotine which in itself is amazing. No one believe me, would know the difference. I decided it isn’t for me, not to smoke anyway, however I do use the leaf for black tea, as long as the drink isn’t stewed.Rightly or wrongly, I do add sugar to sweeten it up a bit. We both drink this before bed and helps us sleep. Even writing this, seems weird how dried marshmellow leaves help the body through intestines and supports the brain. Being 100% Organic and natural, this doesn’t hurt us at all. However these leaves are caffeinated so be careful if not used to caffeine.Country of Origin Belgium. Now this packet does have stalks, and if one by accident gets in your mouth it will have a bitter taste, and you will know it too.Stalks are a pain in any tea leaves like this. So I opened up the pack and spread it out on a clean tray, sorted out and removed the stalks, then put in a tin or tub with air tight lid for freshness. It is up to the consumer whether you have a few stalks and be cheaper, or pay more and stalks taken out for you. Your choice, like ours. I choose to remove them myself. So my conclusion, as an ex smoker, I didn’t like my prescribed cannabis in a roll up with the marshmellow leaf, instead I really like it as a tea, so calming, and a good restful night. Making a black tea like this is really nice.So next to my husbands thoughts on it. Easy to add he really enjoys it.My husband states when stalks removed he felt no restriction on his throat, namely coughing. He hasn’t coughed at all. Now because his intention is to come off rolling tobacco, he is using a bit of real tobacco mixed with MM ( marshmellow) for now, but not every roll up, to detox slowly before stopping completely with rolling tabacco. So here’s the thing, once I opened the packet, naturally there were twigs, some small and some stubborn thick ones.I always work to a process getting the thicker stems out.Firstly lay all the MM leaf on a tray or something similar.I used two sieves, one tiny holes, the other a normal and standard one. You will see sizes in my images. I transferred the leaf from the tray in sections and sieve used to remove the large stalks, then repeated the process with the small sieve. You will be left with smaller twigs which are fine to smoke or drink as tea. This way of using the sieve is a little time consuming, but this way helps a lot.The easiest and fastest way, I put enough MM leaf into a blender, just enough to cover the blades, I put on medium speed for three seconds, then remove into a jar or similar so it is air tight. Please do not leave any longer, not unless you want dust, as grinds up very fine if not careful. You can also if you have one floating around a proper cigarette grinder, we have them, however takes a while and still left with twigs. Using my blender is a better option for me to be honest, and all done in less than five minutes the full bag. Now all ready for a cuppa or a smoke in a roll up style.Once the grinder used, for under £10 this herb will lasts ages, not only that you may start to feel better as it is organic and no nasties like tobacco, ie, nicotine and tar.My husband mentioned about the marshmellow taste, to him he can appreciate is, not as sweet as marshmellow, but a subtle taste. He really likes this and to be honest cannot tell any difference to rolling tabacco, very healthy, no nicotine or nasties. My husband stated when smelling the herb he cannot smell the tabacco usual smell when burning. As a non smoker, to me when the paper lit, to me smells exactly like a cigarette. So there are two sides, an ex smoker and a smoker. Either way, if this gets my man off ciggies and can still smoke this as a roll up, knowing it is healthy, I am all for it. So we both are winners with this product.I have this MM on subscribe and save..Thumbs up from both of us a brilliant product.I am a VINE reviewer, so I am used to intensive reviews, I actually bought this herb, but always write a decent review, whether I receive as a gift for a truthful review or if I purchase something myself.Highly recommend⭐️Thank you to the seller⭐️I hope my review helps you

I think its working!
I bought this passion flower remedy to see if it would help me have less anxiety. The dried leaves come in a well-packaged resealable envelope which is easy to store and nice looking. The contents look like machine-cut dried stems predominantly rather than the flower itself. I brewed a teaspoon of the dried mixture in a one-cup teapot. After five minutes the hot water had turned a greeny-yellow colour. It tastes a lot like grass or hay to be honest and my wife didn't like it. I didn't mind too much and drank it all. Afterwards I definitely felt relaxed and calm. I will try it all again this evening and see how it begins to affect my overall sleep. It's hard to know whether to recommend this product yet as I've not tried others to compare, but so far I'm not unhappy with it and would probably recommend it to friends and family.

Very leafy and smells calming
Already used this for teas, for myself to encourage tiredness. And for my mums dog, he is erratic and hyperactive, running, swimming and training haven't helped much so I bought this to blend with chamomile and Valerian to support him. 3 days in and today he was able to sit still enough to get some fuss so its definitely effective!I looked around before buying and this listing had good value and good reviews so I went for it. Glad I didAlso impressed with the qualityMany thanks to a great seller 😊

A lot of twigs
Came well packaged, herb itself is fine but the amount of twigs and branches is insane, good amount for the price. Haven't made a tea yet but smoked some and it does help you feel relaxed, but again took some extra time to remove the branches. Smell and taste is quite earthy.

Your Gut Will Thank You!
For those who are into herbalism, this herb is classified as "medium toxicity", which means don't take loads of it for long periods of time or you could give yourself some problems. That said, this is a phenomenal root for resolving any and all stomach and intestine issues--including bleeding and chronic diarrhoea (with or w/o blood). This is one of my staple herbs, and I've had an opened (but sealed) bag sitting in my herb box for a very long time (perhaps a year??). Got it out today to address hubby's chronic diarrhoea w/ bleeding issue. (Btw, you can also shore up diarrhoea with the less toxic Knotgrass herb--3 cups daily. Just realise these herbs are diuretics, meaning you'll be needing the toilet more often as your body expels excess fluid.) I was using Knotgrass with hubby but the diuretic action wasn't working for him at his job, where toilet runs aren't always possible when you need them. So I switched to using Calamus root on it's own. Whenever you use a medium toxicity herb alone, you need to respect the toxic issue more (when used in appropriate combinations, herbs can neutralise each other's harmful agents, so toxicity is less of a concern. If I'm worrying anyone--just add liquorice root! Liquorice is a great toxin neutraliser). I'm using 1 level tsp of this Calamus root with 1 cup of cold water. Steep overnight in the fridge. This gently draws out the medicinal properties of the herb, including it's mucilage (slimy aspects). This quantity makes 6 doses. Basically take one hearty mouthful directly before and after each of your three main meals. So easy, and the taste is quite manageable. This herb corrects acid problems (both too low or too high). It also astringes (shrinks/tightens) tissues, which is why it helps stop bleeding. By steeping overnight, you get it to be nice and potent. By limiting to just 1 tsp of herb a day, you avoid too much toxicity. This approach will be much more manageable for my hubby to take. With herbs, there are many ways to accomplish the same thing.Regarding this supplier: 5 stars. Although I'd stored their product a very long time, it was still excellent, as proven by the way it steeped. No unwelcome critters, no spoilage. Fantastic. Herbs should be stored in cool, dark places. My storage system isn't perfect at either of those, but this product still weathered well. Would definitely buy from this supplier again.

Tastes great
Ordered to make an herbal tincture for my terminally-ill husky. Sadly she passed before the tincture was complete. I now mix some in with my morning tea. Delicious

love it
I fermented a couple tablespoons of this in water kefir, with fresh ginger and fruit juice added, for 3 or 4 days, then strained and bottled as a "fizzy drink."It does seem to me to have a good effect on uplifting mood. Helpful.

Very pleased with quality of this product
Product arrived quickly. The Whole Hop Cones were whole. I especially appreciated that the harvest date was identified and best before date is identified as 5-2028.I have stored the hops in a half gallon jar. This will give you an idea of product volume. I will definitely purchase from Valley of Tea afsin.
