Works only for slimmer pencils (including the basic 'Spectrum Noir' range, and 'Staedtler Noris Club', plus normal graphite pencils) so they don't fit my slightly thicker coloured pencils ('Spectrum Noir ColourBlend and 'Faber-Castell Polychromos') or my charcoal pencils. Also, they're quite short and my sharpener creates a longer point which means the end of the lead sticks out the hole in the tip. Both of these problems negate their usefulness somewhat! So they'd be ok for standard length basic pencils but pretty useless for anything else.
