Smash 650ml Slimline Tritan Drink Bottle BPA Free - Blue

I think this water bottle pretty much meets all of my expectations. It has passed the turn it upside down leak test, and it is light and fits in my bag. I would recommend this for a Secondary school student for all of those reasons. Would definitely buy again.

Great drink bottle until you smash it by dropping it. My 8 year old managed to use is for 5 months before dropping it in the school playground and breaking the hinge. Before then it was leak free.

Almost everybody carries around a bottle of water these days. It is a fairly recent phenomenon, indicative that we live in more heath conscious times. Because of this there are now also a wide range of water bottles available. Unfortunately we are now being told that many of these are made from nasty things that can be harmful to the user. I suppose that this could mean that whilst we are being very good by drinking healthily any benefits from this are negated because the bottle we are drinking from is poisoning us. This bottle though is BPA free, phthalate free, lead free and PVC free; I don’t know what phthalates or BPA’s are but we can take it for granted that because this bottle is free of them it can only be good. Even discounting the safety factor I would certainly classify this as being a good drink bottle. It is easy to fill, has a better than average capacity and the cylindrical shape makes it easy to hold and easy to store in a bag, car or even a coat pocket. The major plus point for me though is that whilst it is not leak free it doesn’t leak much – an important consideration when carrying it around in a rucksack.

Yes, having seen all those yukky marine pollution pictures I do want to continue to cut down on plastic bottles. However having something to grab for a trip out can be tricky. This has a fairly large hole for filling. The drinking spout is protected with a large flap, which it is sometimes hard to remember has to go under your chin (so it doesn’t collide with your nose when you’re drinking, duh). However as usual, the upside down and squeeze test doesn’t quite result in a watertight seal. So make sure it is outside your pack and upright. Otherwise good feature on the wide bottle neck for filling.

These bottles are all the rage now and seemingly 10 a penny but this one is good!The blue colour is quite distinctive and bright and looks like it's designed to hold fresh and healthy drinks!It's slimmer with cleaner lines than many similar bottles and is quite easy to slip into a bag. Fits my car cup holders well too.It's easy to hold and - providing you screw the top on very tight - doesn't leak. Mine leaked once but my wife pointed out I hadn't tightened the lid properly!Good price, good product, worth a look .
