I've been setting up cameras for the last 20 years including remote controls. I bought this camera for work with some 60 second videos that I'm producing and didn't want to use my heavier professional cameras. So, I bought this one for some quick work. It arrived on time and was really easy to set up. The clarity is excellent. There were instructions for everything which I greatly appreciated. The basic selling point for me was the remote control because I'm going to be involved in the quick interviews that I'm filming. With a remote control I can set everything up and then start the videos. If there are instructions for setting up the remote control I didn't see them. In the Setup menu I saw nothing about a remote control. In trying to open the remote control to check if it needed a battery I've broken every fingernail on both hands. I will update this review to 5 stars when I find out how to setup and operate the remote control.Update: September 13, 2019As stated, I am updating my review to 5 stars. I was able to contact the seller who responded in less than 24 hours from yesterday before my initial review was even published which is impressive. Amazon was great and so was SunLea. I was told how to operate the remote and it works. However, the light on it doesn't come on but that's a minor issue. I still can't figure out how to open the release on the remote control but that also is a minor issue. The camera is impressive. The clarity of videos and images is excellent. Audio is also great. Before receiving the information about the remote I did some shooting of interviews for which the pause feature worked well. I'd recommend buying this camera. As advertised, it's great for amateurs and beginners.

I bought this for traveling videoing and taking pictures of my home. I took pictures at night with standard/low lights. It looks pretty good as I put the image in my computers to see. I also did a video recording. It was good but I didn't upload due to privacy issues. However, the video was good and the sound recording was clear! I would definitely bring this with me to national parks for recording next time!

I bought this video camera because I need to tape several hours of content and didn't want to spend too much money. I thought I was getting a great deal, but there are some significant issues to factor in that I wish I would have known about prior to purchasing this product. Apparently this camera is only capable to recording AVI files, which are massive. I purchased a 32 gb sd card, and the camera indicates that there is a max recording time of only 5 hours and 43 minutes. This is on the lowest video quality setting. On the highest setting (2.7k) I only have 1 hour and 42 minutes available. When I put the same SD card into my colleagues camera, it indicates there is over 17 hours of space on the SD card. Now I have to go out and buy a 128 gb sd card to have enough space so that I'm not constantly having to wipe the card out or backup the contents to my computer after every 5 hours of recording. The bottom line is that it's a decent little camera for the price, but make sure you buy a 128gb sd card and/or look for a different camera that can hold more space.

I like this Camera because it is light, it is not bulky to use and it is good for vlogging. It is easy to use and I can flip the screen too if I want to take a selfie. The picture and video quality are very good. I recommend this camera to everyone that wants to take great pictures and videos for an affordable price.

Sound is not ok. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, if I find out it’s me I will update...but so far, not good.

I could not get this camera to EVER work right!!! The buttons don't work. I would not recommend this camera.

Very simple and easy to use camera. The colors and the picture quality is outstanding. Very light. Overall great value for its money

I purchased this camera to document my move-out. Unfortunately, I was dealing with an unscrupulous landlord. I think everyone, aside from cell phone cameras, should have at least a camcorder on hand. The uses for one are endless, and this is a great one to purchases. It was under $100, compact, lightweight and great quality.
