Girder and Panel School Building Set

My daughter needed a model of a schoolhouse for a project. While this served its purpose, for the price it should be much better quality. The panels do not fit right at all. They are not easy to attach and we had to hot glue them down to keep them from falling off. Also, at some point when you get to the end of a row, you need a smaller panel, so we had to cut a few. Ridiculous for a $40 item. I would have sent it back, but as I said she needed it for a project and it did serve its purpose. Would give it zero stars.

This is a very clever toy that allow children to build nice looking girder frames and attach plastic walls to the frames, teaching them about engineering and architectural design. The construction process teaches children that the strength of the girder system comes from connecting the girders into frames, which provides them understanding of how modern buildings are made. The pieces are well-made and durable, and the buildings created are excellent for children's hotwheel cars and train sets. This set can be used to create a large school building, or many smaller structures connected by bridges and walkways, or several tall towers. These are incidentally perfect for creating modular buildings for use with 28mm skirmish wargames like  Infinity Operation: Icestorm - PanOceania vs Nomads 2 Player Starter Set  or  Deadzone , which is what I am using them for. The website also has a downloadable template that can be modified to print custom wall panels.

It’s missing pieces. Clearly, for a building set, that can be a problem

My niece and nephew are loving these girder and panel sets. I’m going to buy more. The boxes arrived looking like new. All the pieces included as advertised. Once built, the structures are sturdy and easy to play with. I love these toys.

Great for letting my grandson create his own designs after seeing how all the parts work together.

I had these as a child and this set was nothing like the original. My 5 yr. old grandson lost interest after 5 minutes. Panels were extremely difficult to attach for both of us. I sent it back.

son inlaw is an architect . he thought this was cool. I had the same kit when I was a kid.
