Daron NYC Sanitation Truck with Lights & Sounds 2019 New

I bought this for my 3 year old son’s birthday and got a bit disappointed with the quality of this toy truck... the plastic is so thin and flimsy and it does not seem BPA free. It has sounds and lights but they don’t correspond with the actual movement of the truck, e.g. you hear back beep when the truck is not even moving. The trash can goes up and down but you actually need to move it up and down manually, and dumping into the truck is not smooth at all. My son tried it once and never bothered to do it again. It is a very cool looking truck and we appreciate it as we live in NYC and see the actual sanitation truck every day. However, for the price we paid the truck could be made with higher quality and functionality.

This is my 1.5 year old son's favorite toy. The noises are great (volume is fine, not annoying for parents). Seems to be pretty durable. I was afraid the notch on the garbage bin would break off (the part that connects to the lift), but it hasn't budged or bent at all! It was definitely worth every penny. If your kid loves when the garbage truck drives around, this is the toy for him/her!

My 3 year old is totally obsessed with this truck. However, it’s hard for him to take the trash can back off after he puts it on. Also, the plastic is somewhat thin and flimsy, so the lift to dump the trash doesn’t glide smoothly, and causes him frustration. At this price point I expected more.

My son loves garbage trucks. The electrical action of the trash can being lifted up and down keeps my son engaged for a long time. He loves adding “trash” and letting it be dumped into the truck. He plays for hours when he has his trucks and garbage cans all lined up to be collected.
