Fresh Orange Ceramic Thermal Nylon Bristle Large Hair Brush

The brand name indicates this was designed with science in a lab but to me, it is imbued with MAGIC!! I have extremely thick hair, the thickest my stylist has ever seen. My hair is a bit longer than chin length and varies in texture from quite coarse to a bit fine depending on where it is on my head. AND, to make matters worse, I'm graying, so I've got those rebellious hairs everywhere too. I use all natural shampoos which don't coat my hair in crud and I don't want to use product to style it either. Yes, I'm high maintenance (or low depending on your point of view). I've cut my use of personal care products down for environmental and health reasons. At any rate, my hair has been difficult for quite some time now. I bought this very expensive brush hoping it would help, and OMG, it did. Students in both my classes mentioned right away that my hair looked great. I didn't change anything about how I styled it, same dryer, same shampoo and conditioner, no product. But my hair was smooth, flowing, and bouncy. I couldn't be more thrilled! Well worth the price tag!I'm not docking stars for the following two things because of the miracles the brush performs on my hair but I will note them. First, the bristles are very stiff and don't feel too nice on the skin (I suspect this is part of the magic of the brush). And, my hair gets tangled around the brush handle, which is quite grippy, and in the crack between the white and orange pieces. This happened with my previous round brush too. I think in time my technique will adapt, as it did with my last brush, to avoid tangles. Sectioning the hair helps quite a bit.

Bought this as part of my daughter's birthday present along with CHI Deep Brilliance Flat Iron & CHI Deep Brilliance Hair Dryer Orange Combo Set. She loves it all! The brush is everything advertised and we both like using it.
