One of Canon’s best lens!
This lens has not left my R5 Mark II since I put it on the image quality is amazingly high, and perfectly sharp. You definitely want this one in your kit.

You get what you pay for, and you pay a whole lot
Zero complaints other than the high price. I don’t have a kit zoom to compare it to but the image quality is fantastic. It’s on the heavy side but it’s well built for it.While yes some of the canon color that I know and love does come from the camera body, this lens just gets out of the way and it’s so easy to get great results without having to fiddle much with this or that in post.

Great lens, but fell short of expectations
This is a professional lens that has it all , image stabilization, auto focus, low light f/2.8, and the new rf mirror less mount .Attached to my r7 canon (crop sensor) I was not totally satisfied with focus accuracy at lower light levels. This issue and it’s high price was why it was returned.

great ultra wide angle lens
Purchased to replace my EF 16-35, which is very old but still good. The lens works great.

Another exceptional piece of Canon glass
Got this lens for my Canon R5 and wow I'm blow away by the quality and speed. I've been using a crop sensor camera for about 6 years now and decided to go full frame. My first lens purchase had to be a wide angle to get those huge sweeping wide shots that my crop sensor just couldn't achieve. So far I'm loving this lens. It's super sharp from edge to edge even at 15mm. Autofocus is everything the R5 was touted to be and this lens accompanies that feature perfectly. Super fast, accurate and sharp. Also, lens stabilization on this lens is unreal. If I'm super steady I can get sharp pictures at 1/2 second exposure hand held. Definitely a worthwhile investment for years to come.

Great Lens
I rented this lens before and was very happy with the results. The images are sharp and the colors are good. I cannot hear the lens and the auto-focusing is spot on. I can't wait to try this with some astrophotography. This is a big investment for a hobbyist like me so I was excited to finally pull the trigger. However, for this money, please ship it better. The box came crushed in even though the exterior box was pristine. So it was packed that way?!?! C'mon people. Luckily, it seems in good shape but I think I'm done with rolling the dice here. I will be getting products like this elsewhere regardless of the shipping time.

Impressive quality and versatile
This is an impressive lens. It's sharp, fairly light, and the 15-35mm range is really nice. I find myself reaching for it more than I expected to. It is particularly nice for walking around downtown and capturing the architecture or for wide landscapes. The 35 end brings perspective much closer to what the eye sees and is a great focal length for group shots. The two images show the opposite ends of the zoom range. The 35mm photo of the tulips has lens correction turned off so that the lesn' vignette is visible. For myself, the only negative is that it is not a metal construction. Plastic is definitely lighter, but I worry about the plastic cracking when shooting in the cold Minnesota winters.

Amazing Quality
I've owned the Tamron 15-30 G2 lens, and this Canon RF lens blows it away completely. It's lighter, sharper, and far less vignetting. I currently use the Tamron 24-70 G2 for my mid-range zoom and now I want to dump it for the RF 24-70. I am attaching two images I took during Christmas Eve service at our church which was very dimly lit. Shot at iso800 and f/2.8 with shutter around 1/60 for the candle shot (35mm) and 1/15 for the ultra wide shot (15mm). I used this lens solely for the night and was able to get great group shots as well as performance shots. Snappy fast zoom, very quiet so I'm sure it would be ideal for video. Plastic feel, but honestly don't care, it keeps the weight down. Plus I prefer the matte finish to help hide fingerprints. Highly recommend.
