Motion-activated and batteries last for months. I have one on my front porch. Batteries seem to last about six months, even in cold Utah winters. And very bright.Great for camping too. You can tie them off to a branch or whatever, or just stand them up. The motion activation sensor is good. (Peace of mind.)I have this model, but have used the earlier version for years with no issues. Best battery powered motion sensor light out there.

I didn't realize how large this "eyeball" was, it's bigger than an 8 ball. But I love the flexibility it offers. I played with hanging it by twisting the flexible tripod around things, and finally ended up opting for installing the metal plate on a deck post where I could point the big eyeball at my grill (where I wanted the light to be). The sensitivity is awesome for motion sensor. And the brightness is great for lighting up the corner where my grilling get's done after dusk. The think I really love about it is that I have so many options on where to place it based on the many positioning options that come with it. It's a big eyeball, but it's a winner.

This is a handy light for camping. Great for middle of the night trips to the outhouse/tree, hanging on the roof rack at night for visibility when unloading vehicles and unwanted visitors/critters.

I purchased 3 of these lights to attach to steel plates on the base of an upstairs porch magnetically and to provide extra light below as we walk underneath between our house and garage. These are working perfectly for us! What a cool and inventive light! I love the strong tripod mount as well!

I have these lights everywhere. Lights go one as I walk through the house. There's an off switch. Batteries are easy to install. I also use these lights inside cabinets. Love them and bought a second set. Highly recommend. They would be perfect if electric service goes and they are not only bright but they last a long time before having to replace the battery. I hang them everywhere on the towel rack in the bathroom, my clothes rack in the closet.

I bought this motion detection light for security on camping trips. Little did I know that before I took it camping a rat would move into my apartment. It was perfect for keeping track of its movements till I got rid of it. Would recommend highly.

Really bright. Motion detection worked great. Had it on our roof top tent ladder to light the way at night when going in and out if the tent. Also good to detect motion outside the tent when we’re inside.It’s now in our garage to light the way when we go in.Might have to get another one.

Bought two to use outside. One works fine. The other worked fine until the first rain when it filled up with water. Shook most of the water out but now work only intermittently. Please send replacement.
