Best earplugs for concerts
My hearing is not what it used to be; as a musician, I want to protect it. I still love going to concerts, all sorts of genres but mostly rock and metal. I used them for the first time yesterday for a 3 band metal concert (Exodus, Black Label Society and Anthrax) and this is also the first time I actually enjoyed listening to live music with earplugs. Sound volume is just lower and you still hear the full spectrum. I had professional plugs years ago six times the price and not half as good! Great product and would 100% buy them again if needed.

Great customer service and product
Allows flexibility in volume, are comfortable, and easy to use for live gigs. I play every instrument across three bands. You can adjust the volume w the side slide and to my surprise it actually works. Too much low end, muffling your clarity, open the valve on one or both ears. I find these best for my drums and bass duties, w a tip swap from foam to silicone tips I use for guitar/piano gigs.Added bonus, the customer service is really good. I had some questions and also needed additional foam tips. Boom got a full pack in the mail and a follow up email on any additional needs. It’s a little pricey but I have to say given use and customer service it’s worth it

Okay, but could be better
I decided to try these out, due to recommendations from many other musicians and concert-goers.I decided on this model, as it would give me more freedom to adjust how much attenuation I would have, along with adjusting how much highband came through.First off, one of the ear buds had an issue with the slider moving freely. I was able to get it moving, but it took a small flathead screwdriver and prying.Next, the other ear bud sounded like nothing changed when sliding the adjuster. I was at a concert, getting ready to head in, and needed these to work.I ended up pushing the tiny flathead into the canal of the ear bud and felt a pop, and when I checked, it was working, but not as intended.I assume there is something like a fiber mesh or cloth-like piece that acts as the filter and I punched through it. I made it through the show and ended up eventually punching out the other ear bud as well. These are a nice design and concept, but, need better quality control. I may order a different pair in the future and make a better judgment then. The other nice part of these, is the carrying case. Just add to your Keychain and never be without ear plugs!

Kind of disappointed….
8/25/2022 - just received my set of earplugs and was really excited to get them. However, when I opened up the sealed box, everything was in there but the carrying case…..Really hoping Eargasm sees this and I can get the case that I paid for for the whole set.Other than that. Everything seems nice. Haven’t had a chance to use them yet, but I will in a few days when I go to my concert. I will update when I either hear from eargasm or get to try these out.8/29/2022 - Just had my first concert with the Eargasm Clicks, I didn't really notice a difference between the two settings, and I've read in several other reviews after purchase that there have been quality control issues. Not entirely sure what's going on there, so I'd recommend the regular earplugs. As for the issue with not receiving the case that comes with the kit, which comes in a sealed plastic wrapped box, I reached out to Eargasm using the QR code on one of the cards that's inside the box, and they are sending out a case to me free of charge!!Earplugs work great for reducing the sound level to a more enjoyable level. Saw Shinedown last night, and my ears aren't ringing this morning!! Not sure if my ears are sensitive or not, because I've never had a problem with this before, but whatever the finish on the memory foam tips is started to irritate my ears after a while, about an hour and a half of wearing. It could have been the wrong size, so try wearing the earplugs for a time before you actually need to use them.Is this kit worth the $53? Eeeeeh, not really..... I'm not entirely sure how much of a difference there is between 15Db and 22Db, I'm sure plenty, but if there are a lot of QC issues, I'd just go for the normal Blue Edition Eargasm Earplugs for $37. Still not cheap, but you'll save yourself some money and more than likely be just as happy, if not happier.

They work, just make sure they fit!
I've had these for nearly 2 months now before writing this review as I wanted to be sure I had proper experience with these before writing a review.First, I have tinnitus in my right ear and have become generally sensitive to sounds so I've been buying several different ear plugs to see what works. I'm also a musician so I'm using these for live performance and for when I'm in the audience for loud music. As far as protection, these are awesome-you can wear them and not have your ears pummeled and if you need to hear someone more clearly if they're speaking to you, you can slide them to the lower attenuation option. My only issue is the size and shape of the buds. My ear canals are narrower than most so it takes me a bit of work to get them to stay put. Once I get them in, they're staying in until the end of the night so it's not too big a deal for me.

Lasted 6 months
Awesome sound reduction till the slide on both of them broke leaving it with the lowest reduction setting.. Were kept in the included little storage jar but the plastic is too brittle where the slide part goes

Absolutely amazing for dealing with sensory overload
I got these for dealing with misophonia/sensory overload and dealing with sounds being a bit louder for me than everyone else. I was a bit worried with how expensive they are but took the shot anyways, and I do NOT regret this. When opened, they have the effect of tuning out background noise very effectively, while still letting me hear myself, other people, my phone, etc. They feel like earbuds at this settingWhen closed, my voice is muffled and they do feel more like a traditional earplug. Louder sounds are lower in volume and it makes me being in louder areas easily manageable. I'm not even bothered by the dog barking anymore 😊For me, they don't sit flush as advertised, but this may be because I don't like to push earplugs in very far. They work fine only being in about halfway. The amount they do stick out doesn't get in the way of me laying down or anything.I did want to note that the strap is actually really good. I saw a lot of reviews saying it was sticky or extremely long, and I've found neither of these things to be true. I live with two cats and haven't had hair stick to it yet. It's about the length you expect a necklace should be when around my neck, and because the material is kinda like silicone it doesn't bother me being there.Without the cord, I don't feel like they'll fall out, but I'll probably use it when going out anyways. It does come with three sizes of plugs in two colours. I have very small ears and the small sized ones are working fine. The plastic bit also has notches on it for the tip so you can choose how deep in your ear you want it to go. I have mine on the second notch.Overall I have to say these are amazing and have greatly increased my quality of life. They probably won't be what you're looking for if you're in an extremely loud place, like a heavy metal concert or a Monster Jam (but let's be real, you should be looking for NRR 32 earplugs for those), but they're really good for lowering the volume of everyday sounds like trains or dogs barking (I'd go so far as to use these at a regular concert as well), or just tune out background noise if you're having trouble with that. I'll definitely be recommending these to people who could benefit from them.

No quiet transparent
Well I'm a drummer and I needed it for rehearsals mainly, I have tried several brands of acoustic filters, Erasers, Planet wave, Earos One, Etymotics, etc... I found this one not very transparent in comparison with the majority of the others, it attenuates more than others, which is not bad as long as is horizontal in frequencies but this one cuts lots of highs and some mids so my snare drum sounded very muffled, cymbals as well same issue, singing voices also very muffled with a roll off of highs very noticeable, so the experience is not pleasant, even with the low reduction setting.Regarding to comfort I found it no very comfortable, usually I use mid size tips or in silicon even big size but in this one I had to use the small tip to be able to fit in properly, I know this is very subjective but this was my case.Of all I have tried finally I chose Etymotic ER20XS, is the most transparent I have tried, after that followed by the rest.
