Worthless at best, Harmful at worst.
At first I thought the product was a sham, as I saw no increase in energy, improvement in health or any discernible differences. But I thought maybe it takes awhile to show results, so I continued taking them and eventually developed the worst insomnia of my life, lasting for 5 days! My body and mind was exhausted, but I couldn't fall asleep. As soon as I stopped these pills I slept like a baby.I would strongly caution anyone from taking these.

Intriguing and unique supplement
I had never heard of chulen before I had the chance to try this supplement, but I know Chinese herbal formulas are tremendously powerful, so felt this could likely significantly help me with my stamina and energy, which I never have enough of. So my first thoughts are in looking at the uncommon-sounding ingredients listed on the label, "What exactly is in these exotic, Tibetan chulen pills???" To put things into more of a Western perspective and deciphering Latin names, here is the list of ingredients I have researched, with some of the noteworthy things I learned!Elattaria cardamomum = "Green" cardamonAnti-inflammatory, anti-carcinogenic, antimicrobial, antioxidant, rich in minerals.... it's helpful for many health conditions, too many to list!Amomum costatum = "Black" cardamonSzygium aromaticum = CloveCloves are high in vitamins, minerals and fiber. The component responsible for clove’s powerful effects and odor is a substance called eugenol. Eugenol is toxic against harmful organisms, including fungus, bacteria, viruses, and yeast. Very high in antioxidants as well.... ORAC of over 290,000! General tonic and stimulant, antiparasitic, helps to stimulate the mind and improve memory.Carthamus tinctorius = SafflowerVery high in linoleic acid, which is able to lower blood lipids and serum cholesterol, soften and expand arteries, prevent atherosclerosis, increase blood circulation. Also an anti-inflammatory.Phallus indusiatus = "Stinkhorn fungus"This is a unique one! It does indeed look like its name. It contains seven essential amino acids and 12 metallic ions, and is rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, calcium and phosphate. It shares many of the therapeutic properties as other medicinal mushrooms, including anti-cancer, anti-inflammation, anti-hyperglycemic and antimicrobial.Myristica fragrans = Nutmegfrom mercola.com: "One ounce or 28 grams of ground nutmeg is a lot – just a teaspoon can very effectively flavor an entire batch of oatmeal raisin cookies. But this amount demonstrates its nutritive benefits. Manganese is the clear winner as far as content, at 41% of the daily recommended value. It delivers an amazing array of advantages within the body, from blood clotting and regulating the blood sugar, to metabolizing carbohydrates and absorbing calcium. It also helps form tissues, bones, and sex hormones.Copper and magnesium make very respectable contributions with 13% and 14%, respectively. Essential to human health, copper must be synthesized by the body and absorbed on a regular basis since it can't be manufactured by itself. Manganese and copper both contain superoxide dismutase, an antioxidant enzyme that repairs cells and reduces the "oxidative stress" you hear about, which is essentially the same as the beginning of the "rusting" process inside the cells. Both nutmeg and mace contain antioxidants and disease-preventing phytochemicals. Some of these are completely unique. Trimyristin and other essential volatile oils provide the fragrance and flavor; myristicin and elemicin, ironically, contain properties that soothe, as well as stimulate areas of your brain, and eugenol is used topically for relieving joint, muscular and toothache pain. Other oils are safrole, pinene, camphene, dipentene, cineole, linalool, sabinene, safrole, terpeniol. Released from these are compounds that are antifungal, antidepressant and gas-inhibitive for more comfortable digestion.Other health benefits of nutmeg come from potassium (for heart rate and blood pressure control), zinc, and iron (for red blood cell production and as a co-factor for cytochrome oxidases enzymes) as well as B-vitamins, vitamins A and C, folate, riboflavin, niacin, and the flavonoid antioxidants betacarotene and cryptoxanthin, which are essential for optimum health.Interestingly, it's probably the active agent myristicin in nutmeg and mace that imbue stimulating effects, which, in large amounts, can be narcotic if not downright hallucinogenic." Has a long history of being used to benefit the brain and nervous system. I thought this was very interesting to see just how nutrient rich something as "simple" as nutmeg is!Arthrospira platensis = SpirulinaGram for gram, it is considered by some to be the most nutritious food on the planet and has the highest concentration of protein of any known food. Powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory and very strong detoxifier. There are so many health benefits to spirulina that entire books have been written about it.Polygonatum multiflorum = Solomon's Seal(not polygonum multiflorum, fo-ti root, one of the most important traditional Chinese longevity/anti-aging tonics)This plant has broad health restorative applications and has been used as a natural healing agent for thousands of years among many cultures.Panax ginsengOphiocordyceps sinensis = "Caterpillar fungus" or cordyceps mushroomHelps to stimulate immune system and increases energy level. Since ancient times in China, Cordyceps sinensis has been used as a energy tonic. Cordyceps increases the cellular ATP level and oxygen utilization, which leads to a real increase in actual energy that is available for use.Helps to boost exercise endurance and even lift depressive moods.Asphaltum punjabinum = ShilajitShilajit is one of the most powerful and unusual medicinal substances on the planet. In Sanskrit language means "conqueror of mountains and destroyer of weakness,” is a kind of resin that trickles down from the Himalayan Mountains of India region. It contains a fine mixture of several metals like gold, sliver, iron, etc. and about 85 types of different minerals. The main and active component of Asphaltum punjabinum (Shilajit) is fulvic acid, which is considered as the strongest natural electrolyte. Fulvic acid is an unusual collection of hormones, nutrients, antioxidants, enzymes, amino acids, superoxide dismutases, free-radical scavengers, bactericidal substances, antivirals, antifungal, biochemicals, and phytochemicals.Withania somnifera = AshwagandaI can see why chulen can be considered a type of superfood!Siddhi Energetics seems to be a great company with a passion for what they do. Their website states, "To provide you with the best results, we ship all our supplements from Kathmandu, Nepal. These formulas are made of herbs which are conscientiously, sustainably hand harvested and gathered by well-paid, fairly treated workers. All the herbs which go in to making these complex formulas are organic and wild-crafted." This sounds great but I would be curious to know if they do any kind of any testing for contaminants, which is a large concern with herbs that come from China and because of that I'm taking off one star. I plan on asking about this and will update my review if I find out that they do.I received this product at a discounted price for my honest review. I'm super thrilled to have been able to try this and I'm looking forward to a lot of positive results from it. Please note I have no relationship with this seller and I’m not compensated in any way. I put a lot of research, time and effort into my reviews, and I don't give a product a 5-star rating unless I believe it truly deserves it. Sometimes a product will get a 3 or even a 2 because I'm honest and I sincerely do my best to write reviews that are unbiased like they're supposed to be. I hope this has been helpful to you!
