Music: An Appreciation

Great coverage and understandable language. Covers Middle Ages to present. Goes into detail too much in a few places and discusses topics of elevated theory, but these can be skipped. A great introduction to western music although it does touch on music from other parts of the world as well to a lesser extent.

This was a required textbook for a college music appreciation class. There's a lot of info in here so study up!

This is great if you need it as a text book, it actually covers more than just music which is nice and gives you some history as a background story.

I like how each section is broken down and I love the background information on the musicians! I learned more than I thought I would!

This was in perfect condition! Extremely satisfied :) I was a little scared that I wouldn't get the correct edition I need for my class but it was the correct one. Seller was friendly in letting me know that I had indeed ordered the correct edition even though it was clearly stated in the description but I did not see it due to not reading all the info. Overall, I couldn't be happier and I'm sure I will do extremely well in my class now that I have the book.

It came fast!! As for the actual class I needed it for... hated it!
