BOSCH RA1141 Portable Benchtop Router Table

The portability alone makes this a good value. It is high quality and stable when attached my table saw with clamps. I won’t use it on the ground or un attached. It is versatile, especially for repetitive items such as table legs. I like the design because everything is self contained and compact when in transit. The adjustments make this table an excellent choice.

I just got the BOSCH Router 1617EVS 2.25 HP and this table is perfect for it. I can now do all the cits I want with great accuracy. The only thing is the all plastic miter gauge. If you tighten it at the angle you want it locks in place. I tossed it as usless. I ordered a real nice JCFants Table Saw Miter Gauge, Works w/Table Saws, Router Table, Band Saw (Red). I wanted accuracy anyway. You can attach the router to the detachable plate for easy in/out or directly to the table which is what I am doing. DIY a table to extend the work area and you have the perfect shop tool then slide it out for portable.

Seems well built, legs are a little more flimsy in their locked positions than I'd like them to be but doesn't move too much when clamped. Leg storage compartments are pointless as others have pointed out. The main reason I wrote this is that the first piece of wood I cut got caught on the rubber edge banding on the table so double check that. If your finger nail can catch it, plane/trim it down real quick before running wood across the table. Only routed 10 or so pieces so far but seems to work well.

It a good table but I want disappointed in some parts being plastic

Pleasantly surprised how well it worked for its small size.

This does more or less what it should, but it isn't great and isn't particularly well built. When I received the table, it had one corner that was flared out as though it had been dropped during shipping, but the box had zero damage indicating that the damage was done before it left the factory. The damage is annoying because it causes the surface of the table in that corner to be higher than the rest of the table which means you cannot have material go across that portion or it will throw the angle of your routing off. The next issue is the black rubber trim around the outside of the table. It is not perfectly flush with the table, so your material catches it every time you slide across it. I ended up taking a razor blade and creating a chamfer. They should have just left it off and painted the edges or something. The third issue is the fence is MDF and uses carriage bolts to tighten the sliding panels into place. The problem is that the square part of the carriage bolts strips out the MDF almost immediately so that the bolts just spin in place when you try to tighten them. Two of the four bolts are now useless. The plastic covers on the legs came warped and don't shut properly, so I removed them before I even used the table. Bosch, save some money and just leave them off, they do nothing at all. Overall, I do not feel like this table is worth the price. I know it isn't a premium table, but really it could have been made a significantly better quality without any extra cost to Bosch if they had put a bit more thought into the design. I have not used any other router tables, so I do not know how this compares to other tables in the mid-tier price range.

Acabados en general buenos. Fácil utilizar, de montar y desmontar, de ajustar medidas y router. Bastante práctico. Sólo no me agradó que algunas piezas de plástico si no se tiene cuidado las puede uno romper o se desgastan rápido al no tener cuidado en su manejo . Pero en general muy bueno.
