ACTISORB Silver 220 traps odor while providing an effective barrier to bacterial penetration, which may reduce infection. Activated charcoal binds bacteria and toxins in the dressing: Antimicrobial activity within the dressing is proven effective* against 150 microorganisms associated with wound infection. Kills bacteria: The silver has been proven to kill bacteria* and participate in the reduction of bioburden in the dressing.
