The media could not be loaded.  This clock was great for the first month. Until one day, I started to hear this weird noise. It was low enough that I couldn't really pin where it was coming from. It slowly got loud enough for me to realize it was the clock! And it's only gotten louder. I've tried everything I can think of. If I take it off the wall and put it back on, the noise goes away for a few days before it slowly starts to return. I took video of the clock at its worst. If you turn up the volume, you will hear what I hear. It's a shame. It is a very attractive clock.*** UPDATE ***It was clear to me after reading the reviews that I got a defective clock. But you can only review based on what you have in hand. I am upgrading my 3 star review to 4. The company reached out and apologized for the defective clock and offered me a full refund. I respect and appreciate a company who puts customer satisfaction above a few dollars.

I like the contrast of the deep black on the white background. Am truly happy with this clock. Numbers are big and it IS quiet. Luckily, the person who delivered was very gentle with this box which as it was shipped only in the original box and the clock was in small bubble wrap bag. It wasn't until after I was done struggling with hanging the clock that I discovered the 'hook' in the bottom of the box. It would have been much better to have taped it to the clock itself. ***UPDATE - It's being returned. Maybe I received a defective clock? I'm noise sensitive. It didn't tick toc but it did make a fast ticking noise which reminded me of a bomb timer or rain hitting the outside spout but at hyper-speed. I did contact seller who suggested I change battery. It did not help. It's being returned and the seller has asked me to reorder. I'm willing to give it another try. **UPDATE: Great communication from seller. Offered me a new click. They were right. I had received a defective click. This one has been up and SILENTLY running for a few days.

This is the exact materials I need. The mechanism to attach to the wall is more secure than just a nail to hang on. Thus a door being shut next to it does not make it fall direct to the ground. Perfect for me. The door is about 5 " from the clock. No worries now about breaking it.It has a very faint tick. I only hear it when there is complete silence. As that is almost never, it does not bother me.The time set itself in about 20 minutes after putting in the batteries. Happy I won't need to reset it twice a year.

What's to day about a basic wall clock? Well, actually it is the best wall clock I've had for three reasons: The images of the numbers are extremely sharp and clear, so far it has kept very accurate time, and the minute hand stays in perfect alignment with each minute mark as the second hand passes the 12 o'clock mark. That is if you're as detailed-oriented as I am to set it that way. Is the last one important? Well that's up to you. I've never had a wall clock that maintained that alignment for as long as this one. But you'll need to be a bit "wacko" like me to appreciate this attribute.

I like this clock because it's big with a white background and black numbers and the hands and second counter are black as well offering a great contrast and the ability to read it. If you have trouble reading small print like I do, this is a great clock! And as advertised it's quiet - you do not hear it. My last one drove me crazy because it was small and had gray hands on a white background, making it very hard to see. There was no second counter and was very loud. So this clock is a big winner in my book!

It is no silent and now 6 months later it is broken - stuck second hand- but when I brought this to the companies attention they were very attentive and offered me a replacement or gift card!

The first clock I received didn’t keep time. The second hand moved but after 4 hours I looked up and it had only moved about 20 minutes. They sent a replacement and it works just fine. It’s a good looking clock.

Clocks are exactly what I was looking . Plastic but needed that as last one was glass that fell off wall and shattered with glass everywhere in my office . Package well and seems to exclude battery however one of the two clocks had an old AA battery in it that had leaked acid and was dried up . I had to carefully pry out the battery as it was stuck in there . All fine and had to keep the clock . Too much trouble to return . I think I got a returned item . Oh well just saying.
