Love this vegan coockbook!
I am always looking for something unique and these recipes fit that category! I haven't tried a lot of them-- but there is a nice mix of "cook all day long" or "I feel lazy-- what can I make easily that is delicious?" I adore that-- and the author did a fantastic job! I have made the white bean chili or whatever it is called about 5 times! Absolutely fantastic! Love! Would definitely recommend this if you are looking for recipes that will be healthy, satisfying, and unique! Well done, love the photos as well-- all in all a 10 out of 5 from me :) Good Luck!

This is next level Vegan food!
So good, so so so good...we've tried 4 of them so far and the flavor is there! Recipes are easy enough to follow, just make sure to read them all the way through so you don't miss anything. I missed the note at the end of the Lentil Meatloaf about using the Shallot Wine Gravy (recipe listed on another page), until after I had made most of the meal and didn't want to start a gravy at that point. So no gravy, which would have really pulled it all together. But it was still delicious with out it. The Blackened Tofu & Coleslaw Sandwiches are amazing...can't even taste the Tofu! And the Seitan wings are pure delight, seriously. What I like most about her recipes are that they are distinctly American Southern Food Flavor profile...the flavors are familiar and comforting to those of us that didn't grow up Vegan in the South.

Won’t regret getting this book! I’m in love 🥰
The media could not be loaded. I live in California and have no roots to the south but I have always felt like I’m a southerner somehow. I haven’t tried very much southern food being vegan or when I ate meat over 13 years ago. I got this book and was very excited to spice up my dinner selection! I tried the garlic and wild mushroom pot roast and I made the candied jalapeño hush puppies. I don’t like making involved dinners as I’m also a single mom of 3 and work full time. Hush puppies didn’t take very long to make and they were just amazing and the pot roast was so good! I couldn’t find oyster mushrooms but they had dried chantarelle (think that’s how you spell it) mushrooms and I did really like the addition in the pot roast, acted as a shredded beef almost. Anyways we are making the smothered steak and greens tomorrow night and I cannot wait to cook in my hot ass kitchen to try more recipes! That key lime is calling my name too! I absolutely love this book!

Best cookbook ever!
This is the best cookbook I've ever owned!!! (I have over 85 vegan cookbooks) and I'm not exaggerating when I say that every single recipe I've made so far has been incredible. I've owned the cookbook for about 1 week and so far I made the Pecan Pie French Toast, Beignets, Pecan-Crusted Tofu with Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Barbecue Mushroom Lasagna, Southern Faux Fish and Chips and tonight I am making the Gumbo. My husband said the lasagna was the best lasagna he has ever had in his life. I am blown away with how easy and practical the recipes are. The ingredients are easy to find and mostly staples I already have in my kitchen. I highly reccomend this cookbook and I will be buying more as gifts for friends and family!

This book is a great vegan cookbook!
Just received this cookbook and it does not disappoint! The recipes look absolutely great and I can’t wait to get cooking! I have a very difficult time finding recipes that will work for me, as I have had oral cancer, so I am very limited in what I am able to eat. This book will help me add to what I am able to eat, by expanding my vegan, easier to eat, options.

Fantastic cookbook, beautiful photos, yummy recipes!
I've been following the Rabbit and Wolves Instagram page for a while and always hoped Lauren would come out with a cookbook, and a RESTAURANT! Drool worth photos with funny introductions and easy to follow recipes. I have only made the blackened tofu so far, but eventually I will make EVERYTHING as each recipe looks and sounds amazing! I really enjoyed reading through this book like a novel and feel it is award worthy. I usually buy Kindle books but am so happy I opted for the actual book. I can leave it on the counter and it will hopefully inspire my teenagers to whip up something!

Get this book!
If you're considering getting this book, you may already be familiar with rabbit and wolves instagram page- if not, head over there to get an idea of Lauren's recipes! All these recipes are vegan, they are not WFPB and most are not healthy (using a lot of oil) because this is a COMFORT FOOD book! :)However, knowing this, everything I have tried so far is absolutely amazing! I love the spicy sweet cornbread! The spicy broccoli will not steer you wrong (I made it 2 nights in a row, I couldn't get enough) and the white bean green chili stew is just absolutely AMAZING!!! I haven't had a chance to try the desserts, but Lauren is a trained pastry chef so I'm sure they will be amazing

Absolutely delicious recipes!
I have followed the creator of this book on social media for awhile now, and have never been disappointed in their recipes. I saw a post for a soup that was only available within this cookbook, immediately bought it, and so glad I did. I have made several of the recipes from the book and they have all been amazing. Even the non-vegans in my family have enjoyed every dish!

I love this book.
I am not from the US, but I love this book. There are so many nice recipes. I attach a photo of the fried tofu I've made, which was delicious. I've actually cooked it in the air fryer and it came out perfect. The next thing I want to try is "fish and chips". Don't hesitate to purchase this book. The ingredients are all readily available.

Must have! Incredible, delicious and easy recipes!! I already was a huge fan of Lauren Hartmann before she published her book and this book topped my expectations!

Vegan comfort food to indulge in with 0 guilt
I have loved so many of the Rabbit and Wolves recipes to the point where some of them are my favorite, most used, recipes. Eventually I couldn’t justify not buying this book, and I have 0 regrets. I’ve made a few things already and it’s been delicious (and easy!) as usual.

l'm not vegan but bought for daughter who is. flicking through pages, dish after dish looked mouthwateringly delicious so l wrote a list of ones l wanted her to make for me. the list was so long she's just working her way through the book!also really like authors ethics and back story. will be keeping an interested eye out for any new publications.
