Works, Plug and Play for Verizon Fios! this price is a steal!
just as stated above, no complaints at all. I was hesitant with reviews on here. it really depends on your existing connection and provider. Just plugged it it all in, setup splitter to cable box and the modem used WPS settings for an easy connection. Now I'm hardwired and getting fast download speeds while gaming!

Works Great!!!
My son loves this. It is easy to install if you know what you are doing as it does not come with directions except for how to hang it on the wall. My boy is a serious gamer and this works great. He is so happy to have this

Didn't Work . . .
I received the item, later than scheduled, hooked it up according to the Quick Start Guide I downloaded (it didn't come with any instructions).I installed it behind one of our tv's in the hopes of running my fios service through the coaxial to the unit, then from the unit to tv with an ethernet cable, and also extending wifi to the room. After powering it up, my wifi devices detected the networks it was broadcasting (2.4 and 5 g) and the tv showed that it was connected to an ethernet cable. However, when trying to connect a device to wifi, I received the message "unable to obtain ip address. Same with the tv, although it showed it was connected to an ethernet cable, when I tried to open an app, for example, Youtube, I go the message "not connected to the internet."I got on the phone with Amazon tech support, and we tried different scenarios, including the WPS buttons on the unit and my router. In the end, the Amazon tech support person connected me directly to the manufacturer, who asked for the serial number. I gave it to them and was told that the unit was owned by Time Warner and that I would need to call them for tech support. My attempts to get the unit working ended here.Amazon issued me a return label, and I sent it back to them for a refund. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Cheap and effective
It works great but sometimes it reboots itself randomly, that really isnt a problem though. It consistently pumps out 100mbps through the ethernet and 50 to 75 on wifi.If you have a MoCA enabled network this cheap little box will definitely extend the signal to dead spots in your home.

Just what I needed.
Simple to setup. Plug and use. No turning on/off router buttons /web browser input. Plug and play. Good stuff.

May not interface well with Verizon G3100 Home House Router
I purchased this produce to hook into coaxial in house fed by main router, the Verizon gigabyte, and I do have two of these Actiontec extenders in order to use Ethernet in various parts of the house. The internet became quirky, a bit unstable. Called Verizon. They said it is because I did not use their super-expensive E3200 extender made for the main router. I previously had no problems using the Actiontec when I ran one. Maybe doing two caused a problem. Thus, I now rented the Verizon extender, and may just have to pay the $200. Thus far, no problems with the new extender. Fingers crossed. I use ethernet to access court conferences and need a stable platform. Verizon said the Actiontec extenders were old tech, a decade old, and that is why. Don't really believe them. They just squeeze out of each customer as much green as they can get away with.

Plug it in, push a button, then go push another button, walk away, and it automatically syncs
Heard a lot of people having issues with this. This almost creates a mesh like network with your current verizon router. You just plug it in, hold down the wps button on the extender for 5 seconds, the light changes to a blinking red, then go to your original router and hold down the wps button for 5 seconds, and voila! everything gets synced network wise. The original network name and passwords get ported over so youre entire area you want covered all flows seamlessly between connections without you worrying about switching back and forth between networks.

Great extender for the money using coax!!
Extended our network from our house to our detached garage really well. Worked perfectly with our Verizon network that needed a coax cable extender.
