Just ordered #2 - Update
Update Jan 2022:Using a torque wrench set to 2.5 - 3 nm for the wedge bolt is critical. I 'winged it' originally, went to install lesser elastomers and discovered that had I not originally over-tightened this bolt in the first place there is much shock absorbing movement. A good product got even gooder and my shoulders appreciate it.Purchased the first one for my gravel bike - even though I run fairly low pressure 700x38 & 42 tubeless tires, the washboard roads were giving my shoulders a beating. I saw the ShockStop on a friend's road bike and he gave it high marks. I've put several hundred miles on the bike since the Shockstop and it works great. I switched it over to my road bike for a 66mi test ride, and works nice on that also. So, order #2 just went in today. (Plus, when I had questions on the elastomer values I got direct email contact with the engineer and one of the founders of the company who addressed my emailed questions - I was very impressed.

Better than I expected
I am very picky, especially about bike parts. Very happy with this purchase. I was worried that it would be to spongy or would take out some of precision in the bikes handling. Neither is true.I have ridden about 100 miles with the unit installed on my fat bike (no suspension). This stem takes out just enough of the sharp jolts to make it much more pleasant. Very happy and saves me from buying an expensive fork I did not really want.UPDATEI have ridden about 5,000 miles on this unit. Actually worn out the orginal frame two weeks ago and moved it onto the replacement frame.Zero complaints.Works as advertised.

Good.
Stiff first month, 800 miles, then started breaking in. When I rest my palms on the hoods, it places my weight on the stem in the fully down position. The more straighter I sit up the more travel and comfort.

Won't ride without it
Bought the stem and seat post at the beginning of the gravel season and absolutely love it!Road Gravel and Whine, Strada Rossa, and BWR this year and was far less fatigued in the end than a road ride. I recommend these products to everyone!

You need this stem.
I have been using the Redshift stem system since they first came out.I recently purchased a new bike and found it was the only add on that I found absolutely necessary without question.

Works very well. Absorbs road vibrations and shocks.
Works great. Using it on my ElliptiGO. I have little wrist pain issues, when riding on rough roads, so the suspension stem absorbs road bumps and makes the ride very smooth. The different included dampeners allow to adjust the dampening rate to your liking. Seems very well build and pretty light.Like it a lot.Had to buy the adapters clamps for the smaller handle bar diameter I have. Would be nice if they would be included with the stem and not an extra to buy.But still give it 5 stars because it works so well and gives me a lot more comfort with my wrists.

Worth the investment
Does what it says. Takes out the sting. Seriously machined stem. And aesthetically looks like a normal road stem. Would add to all road bikes.

Well worth it
I used this on a cyclocross conversion to a gravel bike. I’ve ridden approximately 2,000 km with it and I am hugely impressed. Installation took about 15 min, but I have a good idea what I was doing.Ride comfort on gravel or rough roads is greatly improved. There is about 2 cm of travel which seems to be a sweet spot for gravel riding.I don’t think that I would use this on a road bike, unless you were doing casual riding. For gravel riding, it is a very good addition for my bike.

Funktioniert perfekt.

Amazing piece of kit
This is my second purchase - for a different bike. The movement is excellent and comparable to the suspension experience of a Specialized Roubaix. My only advice is use softer blocks than recommended for your weight to get the same experience as the Specialised bike. Previously I had suffered with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome after very long rides - this has helped enormously

Just falls apart and not fit for purpose imo...!
So you've followed the video on YouTube, set it all up as expected. Put in the right elastomers and you're good to go. At first I was very impressed and it soaked the vibration up well, but on my third ride it just collapsed! To the point my bars where just flapping up and down. We managed to bodge it back together and head home. So re-assemble this time with thread locker as the centre bar had come out completely. Torque the bar and off we go... Again 3 - 4 rides and it did it again... Once again put it all back together, more thread locker and more torque... Since then it has stayed together but has a bit of play and I am worried riding with it. I plan to remove and bin as its making me nervous on descents. On the flip side I have a friend who uses one very successfully. The difference between us... I am 100kg and a powerful rider he's 72kg and got twiglet arms... So if your like me then maybe this product is not for you?
