InaTrap Insect Killer use an LED light coating with titanium dioxide to simulate the human body temperature and generate the CO2 (also called photocatalyst), which lures the mosquitos into the InaTrap container. When you leave a room turn on the InaTrap. It will help you get rid of mosquitos when you come back. Use it at home, outdoors or take it anywhere with you, the InaTrap Electronic Insect Killer is lightweight, easy to use and clean, 100% noiseless and is designed to be a decorative centerpiece. You can eliminate mosquitos and other insects in a lot of ways, but only the InaTrap Electronic Insect Killer will do it effectively, safely and in style.

It works very well at first - BUT then broken bulb replacement is a problem...then the switch wont latch..
Multi Stage Review:-Installed this in winter. I live in Sacramento.. so we don't have a huge mosquito problem. none the less it completely cleared the house of the several mozzies that we had.. in a day or so....ALSO. It is a great night light.. it uses little power and it is quiet. You press the button one for a timed trapping session and twice, perhaps a half day im guessing? .. or you can press twice till the button glows red, for a permanent session.... i just leave it on all the time now.. i dump its tray once a week out of interest.. but it would work for a month easily before needing be dumped. It gets all forms of flys: Blue bottles, mozzies, big ol daddy long legs, other little guys.. like fruit flys. I have had it for about 4 months now.. and am very pleased. I recommend it. It also looks like a huge magic mushroom.. or some fancy modern art form. Its about a foot tall. Seems to be made well.. i hope it lasts for years.Over a Year later PROBLEMS: Bulb has now Broken. Not clear how to find a new one. They are easy to replace but WHERE can you buy one? ANYONE???I called customer service - but they hung up on me. Tried again: No answer. So I tried to fix myself.I replaced the small strip bulb with 4x LED's. This worked ok.Another problem. Now the switch will not switch the unit on for more than 2 seconds. Again, no customer service. So i can either try to fix it or junk it. t's been over a year. I looked inside. It's easy to unclip at 3 points, with a flat head screw driver. The circuit board has a spring switch on it. This is the kind that senses a change in electric field. You can hover your finger very close to he switch and it will turn on or off. But it doesn't stay latched. Only ON for 2 secs. I'm stumped. ...So looks like a recycle can is where it's heading.. unless customer service can provide any tech support..????!!!!. none yet. June 2017.

Unfortunately it arrived and was the corded model but it wasn't very clear in the description it limits its actual use but we are happy with
Nice-looking product it appears to work as intended. There should be some additional information about whether it is battery-powered or not because we understand only after we received it that it is a different model. We were looking for a battery model that could be rechargeable where we could use this cord-free on our patio. Unfortunately it arrived and was the corded model but it wasn't very clear in the description it limits its actual use but we are happy with it

Works well indoors
My son used these traps while living in Thailand and said they work well. I bought one for my daughter and Grandsons who live on K.I. MD where mosquitoes are a real problem. The dogs are in and out of house and the mosquitoes come in and are attracted to the trap. Daughter said it works well for indoors.

It just doesn't work like you would think
What I dislike most about this product is that you would expect an insect killer to work while you are sleeping in the room. But if you read the manual carefully - you will find that it is not supposed to work this way. You are expected to leave the device in the room for an hour or two before you go to bed. This is because as human beings we produce too much CO2 and the device can't compete with us - it only produces a small fraction of the CO2 that we do - so the bugs go for us, rather than the machine.Another frustration - if you read the manual - you find that the bulb will not last very long at all if you run the insect killer 24 hours a day. You are expected to only run the machine for about an hour.I tried to work within these tight constraints - and even so, I only caught one or two mosquitos and a fly. Meanwhile, I was still covered in mosquito bites. The electronic outdoor bug zapper meanwhile - caught a giant pile of mosquitos. It's a beautiful design, but unless you are just looking for a beautiful piece of plastic to adorn your house, skip it.

I'm buying a backup!
I am so happy with this product that I am buying a second one. My insect killer has hit the travertine patio at least 5 times (through no fault of the product) and I am afraid that one day, it will not work after being dropped so I need a backup. This thing works great. I can tell when it is off because the mosquitos come after me right away. I use it on my patio which is open on one end (about 14 feet). I live in Florida so the bugs are bad and this product works well.Update - I am about to buy my third Inaday. I bought the first on in June 2012. I have pavers on my patio and my kids kept knocking it off the table so I bought a backup in February 2013 which I kept in the house. The one in the house gets moved around to any room that has a mosquito in it. I finally threw out the one on the patio and moved the inside one to the patio and now I really miss my inside one.I cannot understand how people say this thing doesn't work. Sitting outside, I can hear the bugs being sucked into the trap. Moths are very lound as they get chopped up by the fan. If the power goes out, you have to turn the unit back on and I am very aware when it isn't on because the mosquitos love me. We run ours 24x7 because where there are humans present, we give off more CO2 than the Inaday so it seems that the mosquitos will find us even when the unit is on. If you run it when you are not near it, they all go for the lamp and by the time I go out, the bugs are trapped. My only complaint about this unit is that I am a little lazy about emptying it. The ants then find the lamp and start dragging the bug carcasses out through the screen. I would prefer that they had a solid plastic drawer rather than the screen. It's pretty disgusting. The other option would be for them to make a hanging model.

Owned it for over a year
It works. It catches mosquitoes, flies, moths...I need to explain I've seen every mosquito fly close to it and ignore the light coming from it... But guess what.. it's because they felt more attracted to me while I was standing next to the lamp examining their behavior. I left it one night running in my garage, and I believe it caught every single flying insect (about 15 with about 5 mosquitoes) in one night. It works.

Delusione
