SkyQ Aluminum Electric Heatsink with 4.8-6V Cooler Cooling Fan for 1/10 RC Car 540/550 Size Motor Gray

I haven't used this very long, but it does a reasonable job keeping down the temperatures on my 24-turn Traxxas Titan Marine motor. It has no trouble fitting over the torque ring which I thought would cause some trouble. The design and construction are actually pretty good, but the fan motor is a little weak. I may just keep the heatsink and frame and replace it with a stronger fan down the road. Considering you usually pay this much for a good heatsink, I'm not that upset that the fan isn't a strong as some.

I put this on my Traxxas Stampede 4x4 VXL truck. It fits snug around the stock brushless motor and keeps it very cool. I have an ESC fan as well so I had to put an extension on this one to get a longer fit to the receiver for power. With a little soldering and wire, you are good to go. Very pleased with this and has kept temperatures about 30-40 degrees cooler. Impressive!

works awesome. it keeps my motor cooler, before I put it on my redcat volcano epx pro with the stock brushless 3300kv motor it would get pretty hot from use, now it keeps it at a warm temp. helps out a lot only down fall is I wish he motor would spin faster, it spins fast enough to work but I fill like it could be better but hey it is a cheap upgrade. I would buy it again and plus the fan is big.

Nice unit. 4 stars as the fan is a 40 x 40mm fan and not a 30 x 30mm fan as advertised. The heat sink fits well on my 540 motor and the fan fits well on the heat sink. I purchased the unit so that I could use the fan on my current heat sink and then have a spare heat sink. I'm using the unit as a whole now and it works well to keep my motor cool.

The unit looks good and the fan is super quit. Haven't had it on but just 1 day but so far works good.For traxxas velineom motors you will need to re-clock your motor so the wires are on the side. Don't try and force it on with wires in the way you can easily cut the soft motor wires.

Great looking big fan had to re-clock my castle 3800 in order to get it on there in my slash 4x4 but it works great and is nearly silent just wish it had a little more power I think some of my smaller fans push more air

Put on Traxxas Stampede. Required minor de-soldering and re-soldering of the cap's on the motor to get the fan to fit, then zip tied it down. Fan works very good on the power supplied by the extra channel in the receiver box (~5V). Motor is cool even after wasting entire battery. Very happy would buy again.

This will not fit on the Traxxas slash 4x4. I ended up just taking the fan off and cutting some of the heat sink off so I could at least use the heat sink.
