Great Run Overshadowed by Previous Writers
I collected JLA when I was a kid. Grant Morrison blew my mind, and Mark Waid continued to do so when Morrison left. Then came Joe Kelley, who used weirder characters in sometimes weirder situations, while also making the series a little more adult-oriented, in that every issue wasn't bombastic action and the characters' personalities and emotions seemed more complex.I still liked it when I was a kid, but much of it went over my head so I didn't fully appreciate it. Returning to Joe Kelly's run as an adult is very v refreshing, and a whole new experience that I recommend.

A return to greatness.
The series is picking up! After the slightly disappointing last volume, JLA has returned to being fantastic. I won't go to much into the plot for the sake of spoilers, but I will say this series involves a big secret being revealed about one character and a new league forming in a time of crisis. The writing and art were both on point and great. There was one story involving the lasso of truth that was a bit on the mediocre side but it still had its share of greatness.Overall, I highly recommend this book to any DC comics fan.

Kelly rising
My favorite non-Morrison JLA run is collected in these beautiful new trades. I recommend both Kelly trades as they contains Obisdian Age, a fantastic story. This is a wonderful epic full of everything that makes DC comics fantastic

Good place to jump off
This book was good, not as good as the Morrison or Waid runs but Kelly is not bad. The Obsidian Age is a strong story. I would say this is a good time to jump off the book. Read this volume and stop. Volume 7 is weaker than this one, and if you are like me and care about how the books on your shelf, the next one messes up the pattern with its binding. The binding on the next book features Superman for a second time, after he was already featured on the binding of volume 4, but this time with much less flattering art. This book has Batman on the binding, which is good because it follows bindings of Superman and Wonder Woman, and the volumes 1-3 where the binding images combine to form a picture of the cover to JLA #1. This volume is the last to feature the original 7 members, you can read to find out why, and as I said, it ends in what I consider a good place to jump off.

Cliff dive in quality.
I personally recommend ending the series before this book but we do have a natural conclusion at the end of tpb 6. The problem is it will bore you to tears to get to the end. Book 7 is even worse. If you are seeing Joe Kelly and thinking heck yeah I love Joe Kelly be prepared for disappointment.

A great build up!
The story was great especially the ending chapters. Joe Kelly did a great job picking up the JLA story line and the transitions was interesting. I still recommend giving this series a read even in the later chapters!

No es el artículo que solicité, pedí volumen 23 en edición inglés y esta edición está en español.
Independiente de que no es el producto, la impresión y las hojas no me parecen muy buenas
